If this bird (which is actually a dove, not a pigeon) had been annoying you like this, what would you kitties have done?! Certainly not what this cat did, which was try to ignore him.

Wow, I can’t believe what an easy-going cat theese guy is! Especially when being pecked in the ears…that would probably drive me bananas! Happy 4th of July Sparkle, hope you have a good hiding place picked out! (And thanks for your kind words and purrs, I appreciate them!)
Now, that is totally not natural for both! MOL!
OMC! That bird is lucky he is not deaded! That kitteh must haf really needed a snooze!
BBQ Birdie!

OMC that birdie is insane. The cat had grabbed the birdie and put it’s head near the mouth and the bird still went on and annoyed the cat. They must really like each other or Wow.
That was so weird!! I can’t believe that bird did that…death wish? Or it really trusted that cat. Mango would have been completely immobile with fear. Sumari would have a grand time playing with it, and I do think Bella would have made a meal out of it.
I LOVE birds too. They are delicious!
I think that bird must not have been very tasty…
If we had a chance for our Birdie Network to be a paw length away we certainly wouldn’t have been trying to nap! It would have quickly turned to the Food Network!
OMC that is one PATIENT cat!! The friggin bird was laughing in it’s face and the kitty actually was “playing dead” with it!!! I think the kitty sort of liked it! I wanted the cat to eat the maniacal laughing birdie for lunch. Love, Cody
I would like to send that bird my address. How can I contact him? *Looks up ‘Dove’ in Cookbook*
Looks like maybe they were friends…
At our house, that would be suicide.
I think that would be very frustrating and I might have to whap it!
Wow what a tolerant cat! Happy 4th to you from us.
Please send the address of that bird – it needs dealing with!
Hee Hee…. Bugsy heard that bird and ran for the porch…. I think he had more in mind than just batting the bird away.
pawhugs, Max
That bird woulda been toast if he tried that on us!
What a crazy bird! I probably would haf done the same thing, though. I won’t efun kill a bug.
That bird sure is lucky. That is a very patient kitteh!
That birdie looks like brakfast to me!
Oh what a let down – and there we were waiting for the cat to have a tasty snack!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh yes, I am very laid back like this cat and would probably have responded exactly the same way!
That kitty is a saint! That birdie wouldn’t have lived much longer that it took to film the video had it been me it was trying to torment.
Goodness, that poor cat. If that was us, we would have eaten that darn bird. But it does sound like there are thousands of birds in that house so the cat has to put up with all of them. I am glad he finally grabbed that creature. Hope all of you have a fantastic Sunday.
A perfect reaction from an independent cat who refuses to play along with the bird’s desire to commit suicide. Good kitty!
Wow! Surely they must have grown up together, for that cat to be so patient with that annoying bird. It’s rather interesting, though, how predator and prey species can get along under certain circumstances.
OMC !!! That’s birdy is so crazy !!! and so Annoy !!!
Awww! Poor kitty! What a meanie bird, lol. I’ve never seen them act like THAT before! It’s like he’s laughing at him!
