Sunday Catinee: Pets Add Life, or Why a Multi-Cat Household Rules

October 23, 2011 By: Sparkle Cat27 Comments

As you may recall from a few weeks ago, I have opted in to be part of the Pets Add Life campaign because they are promoting multi-pet households, which I think rules! Recently they added a few videos of humans pretending to be pets. Well, I did not think that humans could do justice to cats (the musical Cats aside), so I decided to make my own video. It says pretty much the same thing, only with us kitties playing ourselves! Enjoy!

If you can’t see the above video, watch it on YouTube!

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Pets Add Life. As you know, I generally don’t do sponsored posts, but I thought their campaign to promote multi-pet households was so awesome, I agreed to do it. Nevertheless, all opinions are strictly my own.

Sparkle, that was a great video on multi-cat households! Binga and Boodie are buddies like we are but we don’t do smackypaws. Well, not very often.

I loved your movie, Sparkle. I confess I’m a little surprised that you were willing to give the B-girls so much screen times, MOL!

We LOVE that video! I was an only kitty for the first two years I lived with my mom, and I am much happier now that I have furry siblings to keep me company.

Personally, I would say that our house should only be a one-pet household because I, me, Lolo, Lautrec, deserve to have all the love, attention and chicken to myself. Sadly, I don’t have it my way and have to share everything not only with Tiny, but with THOSE DAWGS! I mean, hey!! What is a VIF (Very Important Feline) like me supposed to do when he has to share? But I suppose there are up sides to having not just myself in the house…for example, when I do something I shouldn’t, Mom doesn’t know or sure who did it…hehehe…I say she should blame EVERYTHING on Ginger the puppy. I think Ellwood has caught on to that idea as well…dang, I thought I was the only clever one around here. Turns out we’re all clever because now Ginger is doing stuff to make it look like I did it!! The nerve!! As long as I have plenty of chicken, I don’t care how many there are of us in the house, I’ll be fine…oh, and as long as I have the best spot in Mom’s and Dad’s bed at night. Purrs, Lautrec (and Tiny, Ellwood and Ginger)

Sorry, Sparkle, ain’t no other cats coming into THIS house. They’d have to deal with the wrath of Keisha, if they go near Pop. I’m doing just find by myself.

oh, we loved your movie, Sparkle! We really think people should consider, when they want to adopt one kitty, to take home a pair of kitties – shelter roomies that are all ready used to one another 🙂

That really was one of the best video’s we have seen. Our Mom was laughing her you know what off. We loved Sparkle’s expression of the singing room mate.
Well no one can say more about a multiple cat house hold than us. We have thousands of cats here or at least that is what it seems like sometimes. But it is a good idea and even if they don’t get along, they eventually do most of the time.
    What a great post.

Loved your video! I had a kittie sister but she died last year, it was great having another kittie around. But now I ike being the only one and with more attention. I didn’t know that there is a kittie version of an IPad, looks like alot of fun.

Very nice video…my human has considered a multi cat household, however, growing up, her family did not have good experiences. Attempts at multicat households ended with a lot of spraying.

That was a great video. We also loved your reaction to the fake, Sparkle. We’re in awe of Binga’s smacky paw, too!

When we decided that Lishy would stay with us forever, mum was very nervous that it might upset the perfect relationship that I have with Fui. Instead, he has added things we never knew were missing. Three has been the perfect number for us.

Haha! Well done! We loved your reaction to the fake friend, Sparkle. And your “show who’s boss” moves. Your face is so expressive, reminds our mom of angel Annie’s expressions. LOL.

We do agree, though, most of the time a multi-cat household is a good thing. Though admittedly some cats ARE happier being the only fur companion in the house!
