Sunday Catinee: Kitty Workout

May 19, 2013 By: Sparkle Cat25 Comments

Sparkle's Sunday Catinee

I had mixed feelings about showing today’s Sunday Catinee video because I don’t want you to think I am endorsing this type of human behavior. Also, my human, who is sort of a fitness freak, has actually tried some of these moves with me (even before the appearance of this video!), and I can tell you firsthand that not every kitty enjoys this type of thing. But it does feature a couple of my favorite video stars, Shorty and Kodi, and they don’t seem to mind it, so here is a workout… with kitties.

If you can’t see the above video, click here to watch it on YouTube!

Just tell your humans not to try this at home!

Mum DID laugh. I reckon the cats are very relaxed. I would kill Dad if he tried this so the cats are obviously cool and it and it is MEANT TO BE FUN.

It is hard these days to get people to realise that the cat would have given him ‘the paw’ if it was not happy AND all the clips are very short as if the cat didn’t hang around long – right?!

So Sparkle have you prepared a proper home coming for your Mom? For instance a strategically placed hair ball?

I’ve used my three for press ups, but they are too light for two arms and I am not quite strong enough to use them with one arm. And they didn’t mind too much hehe

We’d seen this before but it still gives us paws, we mean pause! We like to “help” Mom with her PT exercises, but no way are we going to let her use any of us like this. I love it! Hey, I help MomKatt w/her ab work by rubbing all over her while she’s lying on the floor & helpless so she starts giggles and totally RUINS her form! MOL

Our Person probably couldn’t do that. She would just drop us. LOL Hope the Mom had a good time at Blog Paws and brought you lots of goodies.

MOL! We liked that video. No fear our humans will do this with us. They never exercise.

We love that video–looks like fun except for the holding part. We sometimes help motivate our mom to exercise just by walking nearby while she’s doing it so when she sits up or bends down, she can pet us as she works out. Even the dog helps sometimes! We like the bond this guy in the video has with his cats, very cool!
