In case you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, the Kitten Bowl is a three-hour event that blows doors on watching a bunch of humans crash into each other over a little piece of pigskin. There will be two primary playoffs between kitten teams, a championship match and all sorts of fun in between — player profiles and interviews, strategies and no doubt the “unexpected.” TV personality and animal activist Beth Stern is hosting. The best part? All the kittens who are taking part are guaranteed homes through North Shore Animal League’s association with the Hallmark Channel! Really enjoyed watching the kitten bowl.
So glad we stumbled upon Hallmark channel today otherwise we wouldn’t have seen the cutest, funnest, furriest ballgame ever.
What we really wanted was for those people to shut up so we could hear that creepy rendition of Obladi-Oblada.

Oooh, I LOVE that! I watched the Puppy Bowl and thoroughly enjoyed Keyboard Cat for the half-time show. He just looked p*ssed off at having to wear a hat though–but that made me laugh. Hobbes did not find it humorous for some reason.

OK, I wanna know why those bowls don’t have food in them. I watched the Kitten Bowl and was very disappointed that they let the kittens play with yarn. They should know better.
The Kitten Bowl is much more our speed than this nonsense with humans who play with a ball. Really, what’s the fun in that?

I have loved every second of The Kitten Bowl! LOVE that the Ref threw a yellow flag. I think it was for un-necessary roughing. I saw some kitty’s arm get the bitey laid on him! I also some so smack paws!

We hate football and tv sport and had never heard of kitten bowl but having seen the trailer we are all howling now as we don’t get kitten bowl which is sooooo unfair.

Oh those kittens in the bowls was terrific. So Sparkle, aren’t you going to translate all that for us. But that was too cute. I am surprised that two of them didn’t try to get in a bowl together.
We really luff Sunday Catinee. If we had cable, we’d totally be tuning into the Kitten Bowl. Mom says we’ll have to watch the highlights online later. The Japanese vid is adorable. Every kitten found a bowl. 🙂
