Sunday Catinee: How to Walk Your Human

July 15, 2012 By: Sparkle Cat31 Comments

I’ve always felt that there was something little bit wrong with the human urge to walk their cats on a leash. Kodi here proves me right once again — it is supposed to be the other way around! Watch as Kodi gives you the steps on how a cat properly walks a human. Note that since he has to use all four paws to do the walking, he carries the leash in his mouth — so smart and industrious for such a young kitty!

Sparkle, I think you must spend your entire week culling through hundreds of kitty videos to bring us the creme de la creme every Sunday. I look forward to this every single week! Thanks.

We love that video! Especially at the beginning when the cat is growling at the human to get a move on. Thanks for stopping by our Gotcha Day celebration!

That is one smart kitty! We are impressed!

The human sez many years ago a family friend of the grandpawrents stopped in Oklahoma for a visit. Their cat was with them and the son walked him on a leash. The neighbors all thought that was so unreal 🙂

Hey, it is a lot of work to train humans how to walk so the massage and grooming from Shorty after the lesson was in order! Great video!

The leash and walk thing is a safe way to let your cat out into the big world – I had a Siamese who would walk on a leash – tho he complained with every step – even walking on soft grass – like he was walking on hot coals or something. I always wound up with him draped around my neck like a scarf…his favorite place.

We wish we had started human training while our human was younger but unfortunately she is too old now and can’t remember what we’ve taught her!

I’m an indoor kitty so when I go to walk outside , I use a leash, but I don’t mind because mammy is always attentive if I’m comfortable with it and she follow me very well! 🙂
