Since it is still Cat Appreciation Month, I thought I would feature a couple of videos about humans who know how to appreciate cats. The first, from Purina Cat Chow, is an awesome video about cat people — even though we kitties take a back seat to the humans in it, I think you will still like it lots:

Next is a video about a kitty circus troupe out of Chicago called the RockCats. Their CEH (Chief Executive Human), Samantha Martin, puts the cats in charge of their training (which, of course, is the only way to do it) — they tell her which tricks they want to learn! Plus she is active in cat rescue. Below is a clip of their show. Why am I showing this to you right now? Because they are in Los Angeles right now, and my human is going to see them perform on Monday!

Great videos! Those Rock Cats ROCK!

Great videos! Oui Oui taught her people to play fetch with her lovey when she was a kitten. Sadly, she doesn’t play it any more 🙁 That looks like a great show, we wonder if they ever travel east?
Those were cute videos! We love the Tortie lovin’ guy too! That little kitten doing a trick was very sweet!
Those were fun to watch, Sparkle. We really like the We Are Cat People video. We hope that one is shown lots on TV.
We are cat people!!! love that video!
We’ve seen the RockCats on video before. So cool! it’s pretty amazing that they’re not bothered by the noise. How pawsome your human will see them live!

Oh, aren’t cats the most wonderful thing? Thank Goodness my people are cat people but you know what? IF they are cat people why do I have a brother who barks?
Angel-Kitty!
They look like fun acro cats!
Me would loves to be part of a acrobat troop….but only do it when me wanted, and no clapping.

Wonder if these two great videos will end up at tonight’s Oscars?
Great videos! I have to admit, I teared up a bit at the first one. The second one was really cool to watch–I wonder if I could train Melly to do some of those things…
Hmm. I admire the persistence of the Humans who trained these kittehs, but the real joy of the show is knowing that at any moment one of the so-called purrformers could just say “Screw you, I’m taking a nap, you go ahead and eat that treat your own self.” MOL!!
P.S. In answer to your question, Not *so* controlled it could not be shared. See Sat. message 😉
Thank you for the great double feature! Have a great Sunday & week!
The double catinee were great!!! The RockCats was really fun to watch.
Love the videos! Our mom would love to see the RockCats! She saw them on ‘Must Love Cats TV series’ but not in real life. Hope your mom enjoys the show! 🙂
GREAT double feature, Sparkle! 🙂
We saw the Moscow Cat Circus a few years ago in NY City. The CEH of that troupe also said the same thing … that it is really up to the cats to tell him what tricks THEY want to do. 🙂
Hooray for cat people everywhere!!!
Those are both great videos. Our mum thinks she has trained us to come to her whistle when we are out in the fields, but really we have trained her to whistle when we want to go back home. We let her go on thinking it though, it keeps her happy.
Oh I liked the videos, I am of course a cat person too!!! I’m sure the show on Monday will be fun, I look forward to reading about it on your blog.
Thank you for your Blogoversary wishes 🙂
That was great – it’s amazing how the kittens picked up their tricks

Great videos. They were great fun to watch. Hope you have a super Sunday.
Happily, TBT is WAY too lazy to make us learn (teach us) tricks. An we hope ta keep it that way. The only trick we want ta know is calling fer food an getting it.
Great videos–our mom is a cat person and our daddy a dog person. That cat circus is great! You mom is lucky to be able to go see that!
Awww. Both were great, but that first one was really pawsome. Our Mom is a very big cat person, and she always appreciates others’ expressions of feline admiration.
Great videos, Sparkle. I love them both, but that first one really touched me.
Have a great Sunday… I started my part of the Blog Tour today, so stop on by if you get a chance.
pawhugs, Max
