Today’s Sunday Catinee features our own tortie terror, Binga! The Purina ONE humans have been encouraging people to get crafty for their kitties and they asked if my human could come up with a puzzle feeder and videotape the results.
Confession: we did not have any Purina ONE food here, so my human grabbed a bag of food that she got at one of the conferences she attended. Trust me, Binga is not picky.
So my human cut some holes in a plastic bottle, dropped in some food and let Binga go to town… or where ever she thought she wanted to go! As an afterthought, she added some music to Binga’s odd ballet.
If you can’t see the above video, click here to watch it on YouTube!
If you want to see some more crafty DIY cat projects, check out this Pinterest board featuring lots of toys made by people from the Purina ONE Facebook community. Some of them are pretty cool!
Meow very fun
And what a take on sugar plums!
Rock on Binga! What a fun video! We loved Boodie looking on as well! Neytiri and I don’t care about treats at all so theese would never work for us…
Wow! Binga could be a great actress!! Her moves are not as glorious as yours dear Sparkle, but she sure can wiggle for the right motivations!!!
Kisses
nellie
I bet the humans will want to try this with Milou!!
LOVE your ballet dance Binga ♡
Hope you got lot of treats out from the bottle !
XOXO
looks fun!xx Speedy
MEWHAHAHA! Binga rules and should rule the world of cat dance, and I don’t just say that cuz I’m a fellow tortie- although it is a fact she is pawesome simply for being one too.
Binga my fellow exceptionally beautiful, royal, and talented tortie ladycat I say to mew what few will ever hear from my royal Queen’s lips: I’m not worthy! I’m not worthy! *curtsies repeatedly in front of Binga in admiration*
PS- Boodie, mew are always so curious and pretty. Mew should take up dance like Binga. And mew too Sparkle! Mew sisters would make a lovely trio of dancers!
Well, Binga had fun. I would NEVER go to that much trouble for some crummy piece of kibble. Maybe if there were a whole jar of Gerber’s in there or something. Poor Boodie–just the watcher? No game for her? And where were YOU, Sparkle? Not interested in a movie in which Binga is the star???
It looks like Binga had fun getting at that food.
woo-hoo..you is good Binga..did you share wit Boodie?? 😀
What a neat idea. We need to try that with Truffle. She’ll do anything for food.
That was pretty clever of your human!! We don’t think our Mom would be that creative.
The Florida Furkids
We love that idea! But it looked like Binga only got one treat out of there (?). Moosey would’ve just given up after a while. MOL!
Gee Binga! Try making more holes 😮
We would like to try that.
Hey Mom…
Purrs Tillie and Georgia,
Treasure,Tiger, JJ and Julie
* giggles * Yaaay GO BINGA.
We are a Tortie household I HAVE TO SAY THAT to live!
Harvey 😀
So that’s how you got her to dance. TW was amazed when she saw the video last night that Binga was playing with an empty water bottle. She even thought about dropping one and seeing if I’d play. Haha.
Wow, what hard work to get food. Not fair! 😀
We’re TOTALLY pinning that and making out human create one for US!
We loved the 360 views of Binga as she did her treat dance! We saw that she got a piece too!
oh GREAT…guess what’s gonna happen at our house now!?!?!?
Yay she got some. Great job Binga.
I will never think of the Nutcracker the same way! Binga gets an A for effort. Did any treats come out?
HAPPY LATE SUNDAY AFTERNOON….YOU ALL ALWAYS MAKE ME SMILE
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
Binga does not give up she really goes at those puzzles in order to get some food. She does have some unique dance moves in pouncing on the bottle in the Catinee.
Binga, I hope you got even for that torturous toy! I’m of the belief that food and toys should never be combined!
That is a great video, Binga was really working on that bottle. I was glad when she got a treat! I had one of the treat dispensing toys and my cats would just look at me like, Ma! We can’t get our treats to fall out, help! Lol
Actually, we really enjoyed the photo-bombing by Boodie!!! She never gets enough blog time!
Purrs,
The Chans
Not a one of us would go to all that effort to get one piece of dry food. Binga was quite persistent, and we we’re glad to see she was finally rewarded. We think we will stick to eating from the bowl. 😕 Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
That’s pawesome. Did Binga ever manage to get the treats out? Looks like a great form of exercise working on it!
We love the music. After spending more time than she should admit trying to figure out who the performers were, the head peep checked YouTube and the content-claiming bots hadn’t identified it yet.
We loved that Binga Treat Boogie!
Do you know why I love Sundays? Well, one of the reasons I love Sundays is the Sunday Catinee!
Purrs,
Nissy
PS. Did Binga get more than the one treat I saw her munchin’ on. Hope so. purrs
Minchie would love that! Mom says she’s going to make one for him. Was that Trans Siberian Orchestra playing in the background?
Wow Binga, at least you appreciated your human’s efforts at making a puzzle feeder. We did not.
Good job Binga, figuring out that bottle of food. Looks like you did get some out of there. Like you stepping on the bottle. Great video. Take care.
Binga won’t stop until she gets every morsel!!!
Binga Bottle Ballet – we love it! And we do like the idea of treat toys, but without the toys.
