Sunday Catinee: Determination is 9/10s of Possession

January 6, 2013 By: Sparkle Cat36 Comments

Jed found the treats… and he is determined to keep them! But does he? You will just have to watch the video to find out! And stick around to the end — there is a little coda to the story.

If you can’t see the above video, click here to watch it on YouTube!

An interesting note about Jed: his human is Kim Clune, who co-founded Be the Change for Animals. One of their regular features is Blog the Change for Animals, held quarterly, in which anyone can blog about an animal cause they are passionate about. The first one of 2013 happens on Tuesday, January 15 — mark it down in your calendars!

The mom loved how he wrinkled his nose as he chomped on the bag. Those most the the best treats in the whole world! Too funny! Or does he just like crinkly bags?

Thanks for all your kind words when our mom wasn’t feeling well. We wish you a very happy & prosperous New Year!

And we thought Truffle was aggressive with the treat bags. What’s so funny is that Truffle came running to the computer when she heard this video. She thought Mom Paula had pulled out the treat bag.

Shaggy comes running every day when I open up the dried apple treat bag for Toby our guinea pig. Every day. He has to check it out to make sure cat treats didn’t magically appear overnight in there.

MOL! We love Jed’s look of absolute determination while he hangs onto his prize.

How do we get our humans to store our treats in bags? For some reason, ours keeps them in unbreakable, screw-top containers that will bounce even if we push it off the table. We can’t imagine why….
