Saturday Catinee: Morning Binga

July 2, 2016 By: Summer Samba46 Comments

Summer's Saturday Catinee

When it comes to tortitude, nobody does it better than Binga!

tortoiseshell cat begging for food

When the humans are in the kitchen, she puts on her happy face.

Binga begging for her meal

Her happy face also happens to be her demanding face… and she has the voice to match.

But don’t trust her cuteness! Behind it all is a vicious creature, ready to chomp on the nearest human appendage — and here’s proof in the video below. This is what my human wakes up to every morning. If she doesn’t get up fast enough to satisfy Binga, she gets punished.

If you can’t see the above video, click here to watch it on YouTube!

Love the pic of Binga’s butt!

And some people say that cats can’t communicate???
    Translation:
Pay attention! Keep petting! Feed me now! You keep putting that finger in front of my mouth, what am I supposed to do?

I love Binga! Her adorable soulful face! I just want to give her a kiss on the top of that pretty head, even if I might lead to a nibble. Cashmere is a finger nibbler like that, I keep trying to train her to stop, but she’s determined to have a taste every now and then.
No offense meant to Summer, who I also love and think is an absolute beauty! And Boodie who is also floofiliciously gorgeous! You are three lovely ladies!

“Oh, oh … pet me … NOPE. Oh, oh … yes, right … NOPE! … NOPE!” Food should at least earn us some pre-authorized petting time with no take-backs!

Those were love nips and looked very half-hearted. That cuteness is genuine, and after all she deserves to have TORTITUDE. Mom just had to squee at the third photo. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

It reminds me what Abby use to do, she always used her teeth to give me her point of view. I got so used to being nipped — it took me a long time to not flinch with the other cats when I would pet them around their mouth. Old habit. But I sure do miss that now.

I’m a tortie and I think Binga needs to work a bit harder on ‘giving the look’. I can get my lady to do my bidding with ‘the look’….

Pumpkin the Farm cat is a real talker too. The only thing I can figure he is saying is, “FEED ME.” Because he is always in front of the food bowl.

It looks like Binga likes the occasional cat snack of human

Binga reminds us of our bridge kitty Tiger.
She was loving, but had a tendency to nip as well.
She was not mean, but mum had to watch her fingers.
Sometimes when mum put her face close to Tiger, she got a nip 😮
Like Binga, she was pretty cute too.

Well those DO look like love bites rather than “vicious animal about to rip a hand off” bites!! We sometimes need to give a gentle toothie to our humans to get them to do our bidding!
