I had a visitor on my latest outing.
Of course I mean the peach kitty.
First he came over to say hello to me.
Then came the best part — when my human started handing out the treats!
My human has been trying to get him to take a treat directly from her for a long time now.
And finally he did! As you can see, I supervised to make sure he didn’t drop any, I mean, was polite and didn’t chomp my human’s fingers. He even let my human touch him, as you can see in the video below.

I’ve watched this numerous times. It makes my heart sing. Peach kitty is becoming domesticated and he’s so gentle and loving towards Summer. So sweet and no aggression. He took the treat so gently and he raised his butt during the petting

Summer , this is absolutely fantastic that Peach kitty took treats from your hand. I made friends with a cat I thought was feral, but she is so loving and was pregnant. She had three kittens on my front porch. I provided a cat house for them and I feed them. The kittens are adorable and their momma is beautiful. I also feed a big stray cat who is all black and he is definitely the kittens father. He fusses over the kittens as much as momma cat does. It’s so wonderful to show stray and feral cats that there are good people out there who care about them.
Oh boy! Orange kitty will be coming by now that he has tasted the treats!

WHAT a pleasure that was. I’m still grinning at what Summer’s thoughts were and how she snapped that treat right up. Peach went straight to the source, her mouth. LOVED this. SO glad he permitted petting and oh, how wonderful.

Finally. It has taken a long time to gain his trust. Maybe,
being caught and handled for neutering had a long term
effect? He seems to be realizing this is a good thing with
the treats and visits.
