As you know, cats don’t have to go to school. That doesn’t stop my human from trying to make us learn stuff, however. After last week’s circus cats videos, you probably are not surprised that she has been trying to teach us tricks. Well, to put it more exactly, she is teaching Binga, since I am not interested and Boodie is too dumb. She wants Binga to jump through a hoop.
She even shot a video of Binga’s hoop-jumping lessons.
I think it will be a while before she is ready to join the circus. Which is better than Boodie, who is a complete non-starter. She is hoping she can get some treats by just asking for them. Which makes Binga wonder why she has to work for treats.
As far as I’m concerned, this whole circus school business is a crock. If that hoop is good for anything, it’s for giving me a nice frame to pose inside.
Sweet Binga & Boodie <3 <3
Wow Binga, good girl!
Sparkle, you’s got it all rong. Binga is teaching yur purrson that when she jumps thru the hoop, she wants treats. I haf spent amost 5 years teeching my peoples to give me treats when I spin, put a paw in der hand, an ofur signals. If Binga goes thru da hoop, she wants a treat. If Boodie stands in da hoop an asks nicely, she wants a treet. An if you pose fur a bootiful pictor, obviously you wants a treet. Keep werking – I fink yur purrson can be trained, wif patience.
LOLOL!!! I wonder if this would work for Livvy? Hmmmm…
Well it is clear that you are too much of an aristocrat to be interested in those silly tricks! Binga seems to be a bit of the clown. Each to their own, eh?
i think Binga is doing a pawsome job with the hoop! she does not even seem to mind verreh much. mayhaps she will be readeh for the circus before you knows it, Sparkle! as for Boodie, well… she is Boodie-Ful! MOL!!! seriously, you has one good looking fambly. if i were a mancat…
A cat comes to my school. This is a real story and the real cat.

The hoop does frame you so well Sparkle!
Binga, we’re not quite sure why you’d want to jump through that hoop – but you look really cute doing it!!
We hope you all got treats!!
~Nico, Simon & JayJay 🙂
ps. Thanks so much for the purrs for Simon – he is feeling MUCH better now!!
Actually she did pretty good jumping through that thing!
Binga is a real hoopster.
Interestingly, my dog started barking as I began writing this comment. My dogs, Jenny and Jake, hinder my cat’s creativity. I think Freckles would like Circus School. Unfortunately, we don’t have hoops, just bagels or hamster hoops. Freckles does enjoy batting around a catnip ball.
She got a lot farther with Binga than she would have gotten with me! I am impressed…
I think you could become very good so long as the treats kept comming..Weel done.. Great pictures.. HUgs GJ x
Yay Binga! *applause* Fabulous job of jumping through that hoop! You are one smart, talented, beautiful Tortie!
Isabella (another smart, talented, beautiful Tortie)
That made me laugh…Good old Binga!
why why WHY did you post this, Sparkle? Now Mommy has some insane idea of trying this out on us.
*sigh*
You did great Binga.
Have a great weekend.

I use any chance that the Woman tries to make me learn something to teach her something…
what a pretty cat.
Nice job, Binga!
Most goats will do anything for grain. I am more dignified. Mostly
That hoop really brings out your lovely green eyes! Yes, I’d say definitely stick with the posing, not the jumping.
Very clever Binga. You are a fast learner.
That hoop is a bit narrow. I think I could jump through it, but Busby is a bit too, um, bulky. Glad you liked our school of tuna. We’ve had a very fishy week on our blog.
Nice job, Binga!! What a smart kitty! Sparkle, you should give it a try…I’m certain there will be extra treats involved 🙂

Hey, Binga got treats for doing that…maybe she’s smarter than you think!!
ha ha ha! Momma tried that with Alice but either the hoop was too small or Alice’s belly was too big…..either way there wasn’t much ‘jumping’ going on!
Binga is pretty good at that! Maybe you could be her agent?
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
Binga, that really was well done. But Sparkle, you sure have the right idea. Just use the hoop for a frame. We just love the expressions on your face. Good take on the subject too. Binga looks like she enjoys school. Hope all of you have a super week end.
Well done Binga…how clever you are!!!
great take on this weeks theme!
Doesn’t look like your Mom is going to make her fortune with you as circus cats. Tell her she has a much better idea helping you to write books.
But the hoop and post are fun for the theme. Well done.
Hahaha ! very well ! almost like in a circus ! Even a cat is corruptible with treats !
Sparkle… you obviously are a cat with Attitude! 😀
He he he.You know you love it really, Sparkle!
Working for treats? I cannot imagine any of my furry masters deigning to do that.. Clearly Binga realises that there is something in it! Have a great wekend
Yeah, stand on your dignity, Sparkle.
Love the look on your face in the last one – beautifully framed but saying “want treats now!”
Talented felines 😉 I think my two would enjoy such lessons!
So cute!!! I wish I have cats like that too 🙂
Happy Hunting! 🙂

Benjamin doesn’t like treats, so it just wouldn’t work.
Sadly, Amber died two weeks ago….
