Remember over a year and a half ago, I had a bit part in a feature film that was shooting? Well, it is finally out! Take Me to Tarzana got a wide release yesterday. It got delayed for quite a while because of the pandemic.
So now you can see my feature film debut… well, we’re still dealing with Covid, so you can’t see me on the big screen. But you can see me at home on your TV if you want to rent it.
Actually my human and I did get to see me on the big screen, in an outdoor showing in November for a film festival. Yes, she brought me along, since we were all in our cars. And if you squint really hard, you can see me on the screen.
This was my wardrobe for my scene. They needed a cat who could walk on a leash, which is why I got the part. The glam part was a bonus.
There was a photographer on location that took some shots. Here is one of them.
Here’s another one where I’m wearing my sunglasses. I couldn’t wear them while I was walking, but they look cool for the stills.
Take Me to Tarzana is a dark and slightly surreal movie about a pair of millennials who want to stick it to their evil boss… and unearth something bigger and more bizarre along the way. There are also a dog and a monkey in the film. You can get it pretty much anywhere, including iTunes, Google Play, YouTube or Amazon (my affiliate link).
I’m in the first 20 minutes, so you don’t have to sit through the whole movie, but my human really enjoyed it, so I say watch the whole thing! Here’s the trailer. I’m not in it, but the part where the bike rider hits the star with a cup of soda is part of the scene I’m in.
I hope you like it!
