The title says it all. My human left a bag of treats lying around after a video session and you can guess what happened. It looked like an explosion of freeze dried chicken all over the floor!
Being the typical human, she videotaped the wreckage before pulling out the Dirt Devil and locking me up so I didn’t get in the way of the cleanup.
You can see exactly how not sorry I am. Even better, later that night the heater kicked in and my human smelled something funny. So did I — it was the treat dust in the heater grating that she didn’t get with the Dirt Devil. It smelled like someone was barbecuing chicken! I consider that a bonus. (Fortunately there was only a little and no fire ensued.) As for the deed itself, you can see the immediate aftermath in the video below.

“For SHAME, SUMMER!!” You didn’t save any for MEEE?!!” So sez Big Bad Baby Twinkle who did something similar with a container of soft treats, and then had a… stomach reaction all over the apartment. Princess DID run over to Meowmie to tattle on BBBT but Meowmie was a little slow on the uptake…… However Princess had once torn open an envelope of pancake mix and dumped it on the rug, but of course that didn’t count…right?

Hilarious Summer. I mol for a long time. Watched the video 4 times. Once Princess (who is a master at opening cupboards) pulled out a zip bag of small dog, yes I said dog treats. I have puppy friends. She ripped open the bag and gnawed at about 10 of them. Kind of hard for kitties. Needless to say my kitchen was covered with dog treats. We were not amused but she looked pleased with herself. Now it’s funny. Good job Summer being a normal kitty

This reminds us of the episode in the Peanuts comic strip : Charlie Brown sees the little red-haired girl drop her pencil. He picks it up and sees it has teethmarks on it. In wonder he says “She nibbles her pencil ! She’s human!” So as glamorous and accomplished as you are Summer you are still all kitty !
