The other night my human went to Trader Joe’s, and while she was there, she looked for the freeze dried chicken treats I loved so much.
They either weren’t in stock or (oh no!) discontinued. But she did see this. It’s Turkey and Cranberry Recipe cat treats, I assume, for the holidays. (The cats wearing Santa hats on the packaging was a big clue.) Are these new Trader Joe’s cat treats any good? My human set up the camera so we could shoot me trying them out.
They certainly were intriguing!
So what did I think? Watch the video and see! It was 100% real and unrehearsed. And honest, because cats don’t lie when it comes to treats.

Awww Summer I’m sorry they didn’t have your favorite treats. Probably the cranberry. I once fed Princess a wet food suitable for humqns. Fancy and expensive. It has peas in it. Princess managed to eat all around the peas mol
I had a male Manx cat named Loki. At first, he liked the Safeway brand cat food. But, once we fed him Thrive, it was the point of no return. He only wanted Thrive. We would mix the Thrive with the Safeway food, he would eat the Thrive, and eat around the Safeway food!
Hijacking the top comment… PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS TREAT!!! Contains garlic, paprika, and pure cane sugar; TOXIC to kitties. DO NOT FEED THESE TO YOUR CAT.
Maybe you didn’t like the cranberries?
That sure looked like a yummy good time sweet Summer!

I was at Trader Joe’s the other day and missed them! I think I would buy them just for the torties on the packaging 🙂
Looks like that was a paws down, Summer.
Must be the cranberries, Summer.
When the first one went on the floor we thought maybe it was an accident, but by the third one we figured she was spitting them out. Quite an honest review Summer !
Looks like that’s a big thumbs…er paws down on cranberry
flavored treats. Maybe some dogs would like cranberries mixed
in with their food. Not most cats I’m guessing except maybe
street cats who are glad for whatever they find. At least you tried it.
Cute video. Those treats are clearly a hit. 🙂 XO
We cats do tend to like what we are used to eating.
Cranberries are not for everyone or everycat!!
Hope you get your regular treats soon Summer!!!
Purrs, Julie
Thank you for that visual review! Maybe they are too crunchy and she’s used to the other ones. Although the Ts didn’t like one Friskies treats that we recently let them try. They did the same thing, licked it but wouldn’t eat them. Love that bye bye wave you have!

I saw those at Trader Joes & wondered how they were. Looks like a thumbs down from Summer. Bring back the chicken Trader Joes !
MOL yeah, I’d say she was pretty honest about her opinions on the treats! At least she’s not like Leo who acts like we’re trying to poison him every time we try to give him one, any kind of treat…
Pretty as ever Summer!
