A friend of mine and my human’s gave me this year’s Trader Joe’s cat advent calendar. In case you are wondering, this is the same cat family that got my dumb fish toy and leftover TJ’s treats.
It’s already more than halfway to Christmas, so we are getting a very late start!
Admittedly, these advent calendar cat treats are a letdown almost every year. They go stale really fast and become hard and unpalatable. My human tosses out more than she gives me every year (and grumbles about it). But at the moment, they are fresh and new and they smell really strongly of salmon!
I’m embarrassed to say there may have been a wrestling match over the little plastic bag of treats.
My human insisted I sit politely for a treat. Reluctantly, I obliged.
Like I said, we are really, really late getting this advent calendar started, and considering how fast these treats get stale, we had better hurry and catch up! My human says I can’t eat all these right now, but I disagree! What do you think?

We have an Aldi’s one and we are behind too. This one has a nice variety of treats.
It’s the holidays and you should be allowed to overindulge!
Go for it Summer! You can stretch all those treats out over one day and get caught up to today!
I am sure you could eat them all if you put your mind to it, Summer.
You are such a good kitty…maybe at least 3 pkgs a day until you
are caught up to date. It would be a waste to let them go stale.
I hope these aren’t too rich to have that often.
