One of Sparkle’s favorite things to do was shop around for high-end cat trees and post her findings! As you know from my many pet shop excursions, I like shopping too, so I am going to carry on this fun tradition. But you know what? You don’t always have to break the budget to get something cool.
Take my own castle here! It’s called My Kitty Darling Castle, and you can usually get it on Amazon for under $100! It’s perfect for small cats like me (I’m 6 lbs. and probably won’t get much bigger than 7). I use mine all the time. I’m often found napping in the bottom condo. You can also find other cool, creative products by the same company here.
If you have a slightly bigger budget, then maybe your kitty would like the Oak Cat Tree by Kitty Mansions! It’s not really made of oak, and honestly, it doesn’t really look like an oak tree either, but it’s got lots of platforms, brown sisal rope for good scratching, and fake leaves so you can pretend you are in a real tree!
If you want something that does not look so much like cat furniture, then you probably would like this classic, the Lotus Cat Tree! It’s modern and graceful and goes with the smooth lines of today’s sleek, minimalist interior design.
Here’s another sleek and unique design: the Curvynest Cat Tree! Even though it has a delightful spring when a kitty leaps on it, it’s built in a way that makes it extra sturdy. Plus it has awesome, cat-friendly curves, and fiber weaving for a satisfying scratching experience. It also comes in a larger size for bigger cat families.
The next several cat trees are really for the cat who has absolutely everything, so don’t faint when you click through and see the prices!
The Yin-Yang Cat Perch is a perfect window height so your kitty can catch some Bird TV when she is not meditating! The red and black are classic colors, but you can actually order carpet in a variety of hues to match your home, or your cat’s preference. You can also add sisal to the posts for a little extra cost. If you want to know what the characters mean, here’s the translation: “Sleepy kitty, soft bed.” Cool, huh?
Judging from my Facebook page, I have a lot of readers who are sci-fi fans, and the Roswell Cradle Cat Tree is for you! It’s 4′ tall, and has lots of places for your cat to nap, hang out and commune with aliens from a distant galaxy! Because your tree will be custom made, you don’t have to stick with alien green, and you can also have a sisal pole custom dyed to match the shade of carpet you choose. Since it is custom made, it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get to you. Don’t worry, I’m sure your cat will gladly except a holiday IOU!
Have you ever seen the film Little Shop of Horrors (the classic 1960 original, not the remakes)? This one made me kind of think of that, but don’t worry, the Cozy Orchid Cat Tree is perfectly safe for kitties and humans! It is 6′ tall and the many perches look like leaves, leading up to the bed in the center of the flower. Maybe your cat can pretend to be the voice of Audrey Jr. in Little Shop of Horrors and meow “Feed me!” Like the Roswell Cradle Cat Tree, this is a custom-made item that will take 6 to 8 weeks to land on your doorstep.
Calling this a cat tree is too modest. In fact, the Kitty Mansions humans call this impressive structure Buckingham Palace! At nearly 9′ high, 80″ wide and 44″ deep, it’s fit for a royal feline family. I just want to say, if I had this amazing array of pathways, cubbyholes, scratching surfaces and towers, I might not want to ever leave the house again! If your human reads the Skymall catalog like it is Miles Kimball and never shops anywhere less expensive than Neiman Marcus, then maybe Santa Kitty will have this on his list for you!
Disclosure: The links to the items above are all affilite links, and I get a commission if you click through and buy from these merchants. So if you know anyone who can seriously afford that Buckinghman Palace cat residence, send them over here!
Wooo! And I just want a simple tree that will let me look out the window and be sort of high up! Mommy never showed me anything like these!
A girlkitty can certainly dream….
Those are some wonderful cat trees Summer! We love the lotus tree and the flower! It’s nice to know that some people out there are busy inventing tress to keep us kitties happy 🙂
the critters in the cottage xo
Wow , so many COOL cattrees you found , Summer !
I think the Alien one would suit a Spynhx Cat 😀
XOXO
Wow, I could really get behind that Oak Tree one–just LOOK at all that scratching surface! I think I would like someone to rip off those stoopy leafs though–hey, I could prolly do that myself. I might have to talk to the Human about where the plastic cards are hidden these days….
Well shucks, I can’t wait 4-6 months for the Buckingham Palace while it’s on back order! I guess I’ll have to find someplace else to drop two grand!
If we would be in a larger den…OMC! We would beg meowmy fur one of those trees…maybe even that pawlace one, MOL!! She would have to work non-stop fur months & months, MOL! Or win a lottery…
Wow! Those are some serious cat trees! Very creative stuff. That Buckingham Palace one is really crazy. Cinco and Manna would love it, but I don’t think I will be able to dish out that money any time soon.
We were curious and just had to see the price of the Buckingham Palace cat tree. Yowzers! We’re thinking we won’t be getting one of those anytime soon. Thanks for showing us some of what’s available. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
OH Summer the Kitty Castle is absolutely THE BOMB!!!!
I love the red & black one too…but the castle is FAB!!!
Thanks for sharing them….
Love Sherri-Ellen & Angel Nylablue xxxx
I like the tree you’re modeling best but THIS is something I want. http://www.royalcatboutique.com/product-p/ktp-i-sahara.htm
Wow! That is pretty awesome too.
Love them but sadly Sage and I won’t use the new modern designs. We are low altitude cats who prefer our softe snuggly creature comforts like carpet
We live in a 1928 vintage Bavarian style house, with furniture to match… honestly, the modern look cat furniture doesn’t fit in here stylistically either. Which does not stop me from coveting them!
Those are some pawsome lookin towers.
Those are quite some cat trees Summer! Love your tree though, it is purrfect for you 🙂
Wow! Our pawrents want to get us one but still looking for the best bang for their bucks – their words.
I like the alien one but; I bet my kitties would love the Buckingham Palace one.
Wow. And I’m just still waiting for my mom to replace the sisal rope on my tree!
Summer’s castle and the tree one after it (that looks like a real tree) are my faves….I don’t like super modern things so those first two are just purrfect! These were great!
Those are great trees and condos, but I think I like yours the best.

Dezi and Lexi
Those are some AWESOME kitty condos!
The flower is my dream tower. – Crepes.
I was hoping for Buckingham Palace but I doubt I shall ever get it. I mean it would have been iffy at 10% of the price!
The alien one is a must-have around here! I’ve got a tattoo of an alien face just like those risers! I believe cats can communicate with outerspacers, or they are cats themselves.
We wouldn’t have dreamed of such pawsome cat trees ! But we need a bigger house…. Purrs
I just love that Buckingham Palace. Of course, Mom will never be able to get one for us. But a kitty can dream, can’t she?
Darn….Mom says we don’t have a place for the Buckingham palace….maybe we should move?
The Florida Furkids
All we can say (that’s printable on your wonderful blog) is “WOW!* Our servant actually looked up the price of the Buckingham Palace, and she thinks it’s actually not a bad deal for such high-end real estate. All of these trees make us want! but in all fairness, we have to say we have a veritable forest of trees here, most of them sizable and all of them wonderful. We even have a Kitty Oak Tree that really does resemble an oak tree, that our servants drooled over for yonks until it went on sale. We’re so fortunate to have it! and last year our servant got us this huge activity center on amazon.com that she was alerted to by another of her favorite bloggers. Trees — we love ’em!
Those are all great trees, especially the alien one. I would need a bigger house if I got the big one ( and a bigger bank account 🙂 )
Those are some awesome cat trees! The Mom especially likes the look of the Yin-Yang one 🙂
Wow, those are all awesome! I’d have to build a new house for the palace though, so that would just add to the cost!
We’ve never had a big cat tree before, but Mom and Dad said they are saving up to get us one for Christmas. We don’t think it will be one like that Buckingham Palace though! That this is insanely pawesome!!!
My gosh! Those are all fab but that Buckingham Palace number is amazing…..I think a GPS might come in handy to get around that thing………..
Hugs, Sammy
Holy CAT!!! You’d need a map to navigate the Buckingham Palace cat tree!!!
Those are some really cool cat trees, Summer!
We think yours is the best. : )
Whoa Nelly! Those are some pawesome cat trees!
What dreamy trees! We especially like the Buckingham Palace!
Dream indeed with those prices, but I love that Buckingham Palace. Thanks for sharing the dream pretty Summer!
Those are some pretty impressive cat trees. I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t have even a regular one!!! —Truffles
the boyz want one of each.
The Buckingham Palace Cat Tree is very big and Mum says she’d wonder how she’d be able to get it inside!!
Luv Hannah and Lucyxx xx
We’d luff to have the Lotus Tree, but Mom says at that price…… MOL!!
Those are some mighty fancy cat trees but we like your castle Summer. Thanks for that review of the trees.
Wow, those are some pawsome cat trees. The Buckingham Palace one has lots of places to hide.
Wow, Summer. I am speechless!
That Roswell cat tree sure must be a conversation piece in any living room. We recently discovered that there’s a high end cat tree maker not far from here. We were already told we aren’t getting one (riiiiight), but we hope to send the head peep out to learn about the build process sometime in the next few months.
Those are cat-tastic!!!!!!!!
WOW! Those are some pretty cool cat trees 🙂
They look fun and cozy too.
