Was Sparkle Right About Boxes?

October 12, 2015 By: Summer Samba43 Comments

Can you see I am raising my paw for emphasis?

Although I refer to Sparkle’s notes frequently, I have to confess that I do not always agree with what she said! For example, the notes say, “It is impossible to have a box that is too big.”

That's not a box - it's a monster!

But I don’t think she ever met this box!

I couldn't even get in here by myself

You could get lost in this thing!

It's so big, she'd be forced to share - and she hates sharing!

It’s even too big for Binga.

Who wants a box that you need a human's help getting into?

So I think maybe Sparkle was wrong about this.

It looks MUCH more interesting from this angle

Oh, wait a minute… it looks totally different on its side.

It's actually quite comfy like this!

Now it has way more potential!

We love our new box! We ARE going to keep it, right?

Binga gives it her paw of approval too.

This is the best box ever!

Sparkle was right after all! I should have known.

As a diplomat I think its safe to say that you’ve added a new dimension or at least a new angle on Sparkles original thoughts, so neither wrong. I think I can see scope for extending that box too! purrs Erin

Sparkle was one smart kitty. We’ve had a couple of big boxes like that and I agree, they are much better on their side.

yup, Sparkle was right 🙂 you just needed a different perspective Summer. though we wonder if maybe you didn’t want to lose Binga in the box… 😀 we tend to prefer boxes when they are on their side and as our mom says, we park ourselves in them like a car in a garage, mol.

Have your human put holes in each end (to climb in and out of) and some nice fleece in it. Then it will be really something! Sparkle new what she was talking about!

    Lady Summer,

I’m reminded of something 1 of my Fur Angels Isis, used 2 meow 2 me: It’s not the size of the box, it’s what the cat in the box does with it.

Sparkle was usually right about everything, at least as far as we know. So you can pretty well trust the notes she left for you. he he – you look really cute in that box, even if it is 2 sizes too large.

We agree. A box must fit the cat…It should not be too short, too long, too wide, or too tall… It should fit the cat or be discarded. Only a purrfect box must be offerred to a cat.
