Like most gifted people, I hear he could be impossible to deal with, complex, tunnel visioned, impossible arrogant, but, without this we would not have personal computers at all, let alone iMacs, Ipads, MacBooks and iPods.
Mum cried all day when she heard. Yes, we knew it was coming from the moment he resigned as top dog (present company forgive me) but he rocked the western world. HE ROCKED IT TOTALLY.
Guys, I am too choked……… I cuddles my Ipad2 as Mum types,…. but Apple will go on. How? Easy. All they have to say is ‘Well, What would Steve do?”……….
I love this and thank you for it. My youngest and a Dr friend of his were reminiscing on having gone to Mac World to see him in California. He has just come back to Apple and that was 1996 I believe.
Steve has had back then and maybe even till his passing an almost rock star status to we Mac people. That much of a thrill to actually see him..and if one had a chance for a close up glance or a WORD..oh..one would leave this earth happier. 🙂
I will miss him and his genius. He made a difference in the world. Not in the sense most use that phrase but in his own unique way. I love my iMac, my iPod and iTouch, iPhone. Thank you Steve. Rest peacefully.
If I wore a hat, it would be off to him. Wouldn’t use anything but a Mac. So simple, I don’t even need TW to type for me. OK, I do, but that’s more a disposable thumb thing.
I am so sad as well, he was just business genius…thanks for my mac book pro, ipod, and iphone in my near future. Steve you change the whole world!! And Sparkle…you made me a better model! (goma)
My mum’s Nano is called Saussy’s iPod because I kept stealing it out of her gym bag. He designed technology that wasn’t too hard for mum to use, and that’s not very common!

Yes indeed, his passion has become our joy!
We couldn’t agree more. #1 bought the very first Mac back in 1985, and has never looked back. Steve jobs was a true genius.
It’s so sad about Steve Jobs. He was a visionary. RIP, Steve.
I just saw this news on the news. What a great picture that is. He was such a smart man. What a terrible loss. Take care and have a great day.
Yes, he was a genius that left us way too soon. 🙁
I thank him from my iPad 2
We agree. Though there are no iPhones here, we have had Apple computers since 1983. Rest in Peace, Steve.
Thanks to him and Purrs for him and his Family
