There are a lot of great guesses for my Furminator contest! And I want everyone to know that most of you have come closer to the actual number than my human could ever have guessed. She has no sense of space whatsoever (which is pretty obvious, since she spends to much time invading my space). However, nobody has guessed the exact length of the fur pile yet! That means that if you haven’t entered yet, you still have a very good chance of winning the Furminator. So go visit my original post and give me your guess now!
Just a reminder: your guess must be in a comment to the original post, not this post! Guesses posted to this post will NOT count. And if someone else has made the guess you wanted to pick, keep in mind that they didn’t hit the exact number — but maybe if you guess a quarter or third inch less or more, you will get closer! Fractions of an inch can make all the difference.
All the rules are at the original post, so you can read them there before checking out everyone else’s guesses and giving your own.
Some of you have asked what my human did with that big pile of Boodie’s fur once she finished measuring it. Well, she is very wasteful because she just picked it all up and tossed it in the trash. Other, more resourceful people have come up with uses for cat fur. And over the weekend, at the BlogPaws conference, my human talked with a very nice lady named Beth, who works for Furminator, and Beth said they do think about all that fur that goes to waste. Maybe someday they will come up with a use for all the hair that gets Furminated, because as you know, there is always a bunch!
Nuts. I already guessed once. Is it illegal to guess again? 😀 Or maybe if I use a different email?
I bet there are a lot of uses for all that hair. One is to put it outside so the birdies can use it for their nests. You could use it for pillows. I am sure there are tons of other uses too.
Have a great day.
I just eat as much brushed fur as I can. Wul, as much as Mom will let me. I’d dive rite into dat trash an nom nom nom. I see no connecshun atween eatin fur an makin harballs. Dat’s HOURS later!
Purrs,
Victor
Good luck to everybody who entered, and to all who will enter. I know somebody will get it right.

Can’t wait to see who the winner is!
