Wrapping It Up

July 12, 2013 By: Sparkle Cat37 Comments

Paper sitting is no laughing matter!

My human finally got my Cat World Domination giveaway prizes shipped a couple of days ago. It is about time! She was supposed to do it last week, but she got sick and barely moved from the sofa for days, including Independence Day. She is still hacking a little, though thankfully not as bad as she has been. It was hurting my ears. But even though she was tardy about sending these prizes, it was important not to rush the paper wrapping process. This is very serious business.

The post office does not understand the true value of brown wrapping paper

As exacting as I was, the post office was not happy about the brown wrapping paper, and they only accepted the box covered this way because my human assured them that the printing on the box itself was so busy they would never find the recipient’s address. In any case, both the Kitty a Go-Go and the box of cat toys should reach the winners sometime next week. Yay!

I told my human she is out of sick days

I really earned this sun puddle!

Sparkle, it’s obvious that you were on top of the situation and helped your human get this task done. You certainly earned your sunpuddle.

So glad to hear that your Mom is feeling better. She has to be well enough to open the cat food cans and clean your litter boxes. After all, that is why Cod made humans–to serve us kitties!

Sparkle, so sorry your human has been under the weather. Hope she’s totally feeling well very soon. Glad you helped with the wrapping ’cause no wrapping paper (even if it is just the brown kind) should ever be used without some kitty claw holes as well as cat hair stuck to the tape. Managing humans to get out packages on time is hard work! I’m in charge of making sure the Feline Yogi Yoga Cat Mats get out in a timely fashion. My human is always running out of tape, etc… Without me not a single one would get mailed out! Meow and Namaste! ~ Pippy the Feline Yogini

What’s this prejudice against brown wrapping paper ? It is essential for parcels and great to play with.
We thank you for your comment on the blog and assure you that Äiti is on the watch out for all signs of discontent and possible reasons. She’s fairly good at picking up on stuff, but today is making the extra effort and cancelled an appointment to stay with us. Yay!
