Day two of the Pet Expo was the craziest day. That’s how Saturdays are. The attendance is the highest, as are the demands on a Pet Me Cat like me. I’m surprised I didn’t wear out my High Five Paw!
Both my human and I were a little bleary-eyed when we got there in the morning. Especially my human — half the time she had no idea what she was doing. She could barely park the car safely! She is not a morning person.
My human brought one of my favorite toys, so that helped get my energy up! I really needed it, with all the visitors I had to entertain. My favorites were the kids. I’m nearly always very patient with them.
My human tried really hard to pace me and make sure I got enough rest. Sometimes she would lock me up in my enclosure and go somewhere else for 20 minutes or so. She knew if she stuck around, somebody would convince her to let them visit me.
And of course, I readily let my human know when I needed a break.
I even took some time out for a selfie! Those props have gotten used a number of times in the past couple of days.
Even though I was so busy, I really had a great time! I’m looking forward to doing it again Sunday.
