Are you wondering about the outside kitties my human helped TNR a while back? They are still here and being fed by our neighbor. But I think they live in our backyard! Here, I’ll show you.
Can you see the tortie kitten napping out there? Let me zoom in on her a bit.
My human added an arrow to help. She kind of blends in with the backyard. My human has seen all of the kitties down there at one point or another. And she sees them on the security cams on the patio and by the wall too. The orange kitten will come up to the patio during the day sometimes. Actually, they aren’t really kittens anymore. They’ve grown up a lot! But the mom is still there, keeping an eye on them too.
We usually don’t see them when I’m outside on my leash, so this was kind of a treat for me! We walked down a level to see if we could get a closer look, but the kitty disappeared right away.
It was kind of disappointing I couldn’t get a closer look. I wonder if they think it’s weird to see a cat on a leash walking a human? I wish I could ask them!

I’m so glad they have each other. I just hope they’re safe from predators. I do think peach kitty may be domesticated one day. He seems more social than the others and he surely likes you. Your interactions never show signs of aggression
Our neighborhood feral, Merle, comes and visits Kozmo and me on the back deck. There was a little female that someone abandoned and the people up the street took her in. She is loving being loved and cared for and sleeping in a nice warm cat bed. Thanks for showing us your ferals.
If we didn’t have a home we think we’d pick your yard to live too, Summer. It looks like there are lots of places to really hide!
I am glad they are doing well, but sad that they are so very shy.
I’m glad they are safe and cared for Summer. They likely don’t understand who you are. Rich kitty mol
That’s so great that your human and your neighbor are caring for those outside kitties, Summer!
What? You don’t want to share the inside of your house with another tortie like Binga?
I’m so glad they have someplace to hang out and feel safe.
I’m so glad your human and neighbor are taking care of them!
Dearest Summer,
Well, they might look a bit puzzled seeing you lead your human that way!
But it is good that they all got their treatment and are being fed.
Kind people create a better future for such abandoned fur babies.
Hugs,
Mariette
They have a very nice yard where they can be safe. I wondered about them. Thanks for showing us, Summer. They probably do wonder why you’re on a leash.
I hope they stay safe out there. That would be cool if you could be friends with them.
The outside kitties probably see you as a “rich” kitty
from the house but are very happy with their own
situation. They have to be pleased with a safe place
to live and provided food.
It’s good to see that they are doing well. They have a safe place to stay and people who care for them. That’s what it takes.
What a great safe place for them to hang out!
I’m glad the outside kitties are safe and being taken care of.
I enjoyed this and I have wondered how they were doing. Thanks Summer.
Summer, you just want to make some new friends, right?
I love that the kitties are cared for outside too. Best to see them from afar so that there are no fights.
Awww, we hope you get to see them more often. It’s nice to be reassured they are all ok. We feed ferals here and it’s always good and some of a relief to see them.
It’s great that those kitties have a safe place to be and food to eat!

I am glad the cats found a safe place to hang out your yard.
I think cats sense cat friendly places 🙂
That little cat looks very relaxed and no doubt feels safe 🙂

That’s nice they are being cared for <3
