This was the strangest Santa visit I ever had! I do want to say that I followed the poll results and wore the outfit that won — my Santa Baby dress with the sparkly bow. So you guys can take the blame for what happened next.
They were selling my dress! Even though my human got it last year. It was in several different places throughout the store, increasing my embarrassment even more.
We had some shopping to do first, so my human let me look at the parakeets. They totally ignored me… like they always do.
Finally it was time to see Santa. In the dress that was on sale all over the store. How humiliating!
What was really odd was Santa was a girl! At least she was nice and agreed to sit on the pet beds with me so I didn’t have to try to sit in her tiny lap. Incidentally, the backdrop we sat in front of was green. I’m not sure what kind of trickery went into making the background you see here. My human said the backdrop was a “green screen,” but I’m not sure how that translates into a night sky.
In all, this was a really weird Santa visit.

The dresses they were selling were knockoffs! You have made the dress famous. Perhaps Santa was a knockoff too.

It could have been worse…if they accused you of putting the
dress on from the rack when you arrived and wanted you to

That was embarrassing Summer. I agree You looked adorable though. No other cat could look as good. I’m surprised they used a tablet. It would seem the phone would be more likely, but…I guess not.

The dress is so pretty that they must have had a big demand for it. It is the same as a human going to a party and seeing someone else wearing the same as them. Don’t be embarrassed though, take it as a compliment for your good taste.
The green screen sounds like a chroma photography background. I know what it is but is hard to describe so I am sure Mr. Google will be able to help your human out.
They use it in weather forecasts so when the forecaster is pointing to the wrong place, it is because he isn’t seeing what the viewer sees.
