I’m usually a pro when it comes to modeling. But sometimes things just don’t work out. Like this session in the front yard. The photo you see above is about the only halfway decent shot that came out of it.
The problem was I couldn’t control my airplane ears! No matter what my human did to tempt me with treats or improve my attitude, I couldn’t stop! The thing is, we kitties sometimes hear or sense things humans can’t and something was definitely bothering me that day. It wasn’t anything personal.
I was trying to behave, but my ears weren’t having any of it!
My human was having an off day too. She wanted to shoot an instructional video for TikTok and Instagram, but the footage came out crooked because it was handheld so badly. So we are going to have to try again. Hopefully when there’s nothing around that is bothering me.
Hey, you can’t be perfect all the time, right?

When I’m being an uncooperative model, I just refuse to open my eyes. Momma thinks they must be especially light-sensitive since I do that a lot and none of her other cats have.

Sometimes the ears do need a day off and they will insist on it.

I always say humans need to have cat ears, or a smart device that lets them hear in our range. That would help no end, I’m sure!

We all have those, “won’t get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day” days.
No Being is purrfect. They sometimes misjudge our moods. Airplane ears are good signs and out Bein notices that. On the other paw, he also notices when our tails are high and our slow winks are welcoming.
Nobody is perfect. I think airplane (radar) ears are cute though.
