There is a big house project going on at my house, and it’s going to require a lot of my time to supervise! In case you can’t tell, this is all painting stuff. My human is having the whole exterior of the house painted, and it is going to take a couple of weeks… or more! I’m not sure I appreciate being put on this assignment with no assistants.
In case you are wondering about the outside kitties, they are okay, and my human was finally able to trap the kittens and get the all fixed. The orange kitten was last one, and he was caught last week. They don’t seem disturbed all the goings on. My human has seen them on the security cam at night. I don’t think they’ll be very helpful with this project, though.
You can see the biggest downer about this project behind me. Those are a bunch of our window screens! The painter team had to take them all down to be able to prep and paint the window trim. That means no open windows for me until they are done. Which is a bummer because the weather is about to cool off to something comfortable.
But there’s even more than what you see in the back! There are more ladders and equipment around the side of the house.
Even the wall is getting painted! The painter actually told my human she should have it done when it was first completed… and that was in 2016. So the painter team is going to be here for quite a while. They made a lot of noise with sanding and stuff last week. I hope that part is over. I supervise best when it is quieter.

So glad you are there to oversee everything! 😉
I get it Summer. My former neighbor’s apartment is getting a big do over. Lots of noise. Not sure who it bothers more, me or the cats
Oh Summer…you’ve got this!
That’s a lot of supervision! You will deserve a very large payment in treats.
That BIG job requires some BIG snoopervision and I’m sure you’re up to it Summer! Hopefully they won’t make too much noise to disturb your napping AND they all like cats so you may even get some pets out of it.
Hugs, Teddy

All t hat supervising may require extra naps too Summer, so you need a fair amount of quiet to get your rest !
Yikes…that’s an awfully big project for such a little kitty!
We sympathize with you Summer! Our windows weren’t allowed to be open this weekend due to painting of the exterior and it was nice out. We were bummed. We hope your project is completed soon so you can enjoy open windows again!

Summer, The Hubby is so cheap that he painted our house all by himself!
Well, it’s not quite done yet, and with The Hubby, it may never be done.
However, our pale grey house is now blue-jean blue, and he’s working extra hard on all of the window surrounds to caulk and glue and whathaveyou so they may last another season.
Dad said when he was a very young guy he was a painter and it was a lot of work. He says if he had a snoopervisor like you it would have helped a Lot!
Wow, that is going to take tremendous work, but you are definitely up to it.
Summer, I am tired just looking at those pictures and reading about all the supervisory work you have to do! I bet it will look amazing when it’s completed, though.
I am sure you will keep everyone in line . I am wondering why the kittens were fixed and released instead of someone trying to socialize them.
They would have been a big project, as they are very wild. Our neighbor is going to try, though. She considers them hers, feral or not.
Send those peeps to our house when they are done…we need a face lift here too!
Hope you’ll get your screens back in soon…
Any job requires cat supervision! Nice work.
This is for sure going to be a big job for you. Maybe you could nap in the windows
where you could keep one eye on things. The painters will need to look to you
for a paw of approval. They may do better work if they can see you once in a while.
I don’t envy you for the next few weeks.
That’s a big project fur sure sweet Summer but thank goodness they have you to keep your eyes on things!
We’re sure you will keep everything going!
With you supervising, I know the job will be done right, Summer.
Dearest Summer,
You’re an excellent supervisor!
Our ‘Five’ kitty supervisors are ready for doing the exact same thing, watching the exterior being painted.
BUT instead of doing that in September, as earlier estimated, they now are behind in schedule and 4 exteriors are ahead of us and we might be next in November… That is caused by all the rain we have had in the heart of Georgia.
Now we have to line up the guy doing the pressure washing as this month would be too much of a gap otherwise.
Wishing you good luck and hope things go smooth!
So glad to hear that all the outside kitties have been neutered and spayed.
Hugs,
Mariette
I bet with you in charge the house will look great when it is done.
Well your human can rest assured she’s got the best supervisor in the world for that painting project. That sure is a lot of ladders and stuff. Sounds like it’s going to be quite a project! Good luck with the supervising!!
Gee! It sounds like you will have people around your place for quite a while.
That is going to be a lot of snoopervising!
I’m sure you will make sure they do a good job 😉
