When I was at the photo studio the other day, the photographer mentioned how expressive my face was. “Yeah, she would totally suck at poker,” my human laughed. I’m not sure what she was talking about, but I think it was an insult.
Anyhow, when I was outside the other day, my human took some photos, and yeah, I am pretty expressive! I guess you can just call me the cat of a million faces!
I do have to admit, my ears help a lot with my facial expressions.
Maybe cat ears are why people think we kitties are so judge-y.
But it’s not just my ears. My eyes are pretty expressive too!
And sometimes I need to use my paws to make a point, the same way people sometimes wave their hands around!
And nothing beats a good head tilt!

Yes, I had noticed how expressive your face is. People who have
been around cats a lot have likely all noticed this. We had a cat
years ago who, when he became elderly, made me know where the
term “sour puss” comes from. It was just the expression he sometimes had.
