I am beginning to wonder if my human is up to the challenge of transferring my book
At least she managed to get the cover to show up, but she needed help to get that right! Now she still can’t get the Table of Contents and the chapters to match up properly. Seriously, the coding is not difficult! And part of her job description is to figure this sort of stuff out!
Bottom line: no matter how many hours my human has been working on this project, not done is not done! I am putting my paw down and telling her to work harder, smarter, do whatever it takes to finish this. Which hopefully will be soon.
Bite her ankles!
Sparkle, Isn’t it ridiculous that we have to put up with such incompetence from the help? Honestly, next thing they’ll tell us is that they don’t do windows. As if!
Mom literally feels your pain!!
She totally needs to get some IT beans on this. I think Simba is right. YOu both need to go see those Kindle beans and get them on it. Do you want me to send Bendrix with you? I mean, he’ll probably pee on the Kindle and shred the drapes, but at least you’ll get their attention.
Sorry your mommy is having so much trouble. This is probably cutting into your kitty spoiling time too
Sparkle…. Your whiskers look exceptionally beautiful today!
I think the Kindle people should be responsible for this kind of thing. Srsly.
Hi Sparkle! You look very determined to make your human finish the project 🙂 Hopefully soon…!!
We hope your Mummy can figure out how to put the rest of your book on kindle. Our Mummy didn’t realise that kindle was for electronic books until a couple of weeks ago, so she wouldn’t be able to help you at all! Silly Mummy…

That looks hard! My Mommeh is lucky if she can figure out how to get a new book onto her Kindle correctly.
At least your human knows how to do stuff like that cause ours is hopeless when it comes to anything techie. Our daddy is an IT guy but she doesn’t even know enough to ask him the right questions to get the right answers so to avoid divorce, she’s on her own!
Dash and I know that your Mum will sort it out Sparkle. Sometimes technology can be a real pain in the paw!
Give her some time Sparkle, she’s smart, remember, you trained her. Let us know when the mission is accomplished please. Even though I have your book I would love to put it on my Kindle too!
That last “paw down” picture is very clear and absolutely no nonsense, Sparkle!
Purrs,
The Chans
Miss Sparkle, your stern look should really motivate your human to work harder. But our mom totally sympathizes. She used to do some HTML work and other various programming, but when it comes to using tools to make things ‘easier’ (i.e. the interface for Blogger), it blows her little mind. She says there is a good reason she has chosen to not be a programmer anymore.
Indeed Sparkle…remind them gently of the opposeable thumb advantage by rubbing against it! Further, I’d refuse all forms of cooperation or affection until the task has been undertaken…
Dear Sparkle
When yous is done, can yous come over here and get my human to get her camera fixed!!!!
Kisses
Nellie
Sparkle
We think you have a very smart Mom and she is working hard to get this done.
We wish our Mom was as smart.

Maybe you need to borrow a goat to butt her
Wow, you’re a slave-driver, Sparkle. We hope she gets it right soon so she can have a day off.
She feels the same way. Although the truth is, when one lives with a cat, one never has a day off!
You are a demanding taskmaster Sparkle!!! I’m sure she is doing her best 🙂
And here Karen said it was so much easier to work on a Kindle!
My human was building websites from scratch in 1997, and even though she has someone else do most of the WordPress stuff on my blog, she still does most of the css herself. She laid out my first book in InDesign (the one she is trying to put on Kindle now). Kindle coding is supposedly easier than either of those, but you would never guess it from the way she has been sweating over this! Mostly now, she can’t get the chapters and supchapters to behave properly. Everything else is working out the way it should.
The mom is clueless about that kind of stuff, so as “bad” as you think your mom is, Sparkle, take heart that others are far, far worse!
We wish her good luck! You just keep putting your paw down and make sure she finishes it!
Dang oomans – why are they so slow at getting our stuff done!
Sometimes us kitties really have to put our paws down!!!!!!!!!!!
Whoa…you look serious Sparkle!
My mom can only figure out how to turn on her Kindle…if she had to code it she’d be in big trouble.
Sheesh. How such an inept species got the thumbs is beyond us.
Sometimes humans just need a little something to spur them on, and I’m sure you can do just that, Sparkle!
Well our Mom couldn’t even get that far with getting the book on Kindle. Hope she can get it figured out. Bet she has said some norty words while trying to do that technical job. Best of luck to her. Take care.
Our mum would be somewhere way behind your mom in sorting that out!! It’s a wonder we ever started blogging!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Yeah, we’re with Huffle! We’re glad we have your book so we don’t hafta wait for it!!
I am just glad that I have the hard copy of your book!
The iron paw is down… if she still doesn’t get it done, get Binga to strong paw her!
We hope she figures it out soon!
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
MOL.. Sparkle, you know you look so serious today but in some way you look funny in the serious way ( I hope you understand me )
and good luck for your command because please don’t forget…She is a cat person. I’m not quite sure how much she is listening : )
xoxo
I have my book in an e-book format, but don’t know how to get it on Kindle. Can your human tell me how?
Oh Karen, you are asking a human who can’t get her OWN book on Kindle properly, MOL! Seriously, I will have her email you some info. It is not that hard to get an epub to Kindle, especially if you do not have subchapters like my book does.
