I hate being locked up in one part of the house while all sorts of cool stuff is going on that I can’t see! So you can imagine how frustrated I’ve been while the painters have been working inside. So my human finally took me out front for a little while so I could explore and fit in some recreation.
It had been a couple weeks since I’ve been out front. There were lots of new smells to check out.
I explored most of the front yard before taking a break and giving my human a meaningful stare. What do you think I wanted?
Treats, of course!
After I got my treats, I posed on the lawn for a few photos.
I also posed on the concrete table, where there was some cool light in the background.
The bokeh was nice enough for some portraits. I had a nice time taking a break from my confinement! The painters are done now, at least for a while. Which is good because I have things to do and places to go!

Are the ferals still living in your yard or did the painters scare them off?
They’re still there! They took a break while the outside was being painted, but came back when they finished.

We always think of the “head cat” in a home as the
“charge kitty” – or , the kitty in charge. You do a good
job of being charge kitty. Your lawn is looking very good
for November! I knew you were wanting a treat.
That is the very best “I’m ready for a treat now please!!” look I’ve ever seen!
Hugs, Teddy
A lovely kitty exploring her front yard to make sure all is as it should be, and it seem to be A-OK!
We are going to suffer confinement too in a few weeks, cause there will be intruders in our yard…to pour a concrete slab and others to chop down our naughty walnut tree…but then when the concrete guys leave we won’t just be able to run free as normal, cause we have to keep off the concrete, so we will be on leashes for a day or two…phooey!
Summer I found you again. I missed you. So sorry I lost contact. I’m getting your notifications now.
Oh, you were lucky to go outside. You look gorgeous out there!
Purrrrrs, Spike William
Looks like you had fun. I wonder who sprayed?
Looks like you had a great time outside Summer!
Sounds like you needed it too with all that’s going on indoors!
Purrs, Julie
You look most happy out there sweet Summer and yes, treats are a must!
Glad they’re gone and you can get back to doing what you want to do!
You are such a supermodel, Summer!
Purrs,

I am glad you were able to get out. I wonder who sprayed in your garden!!
Dearest Summer,
Happy to see you getting out for enlarging your view!
Having painters at the house is not good for any kitty.
Our kitties suffered three days as the tree crew (3 men) came daily in for cutting three large trees and trimming big limbs off from other trees. The noise is what they hate…
Today is a quiet day, nobody around and the kitties can relax and enjoy their daily routine such as getting a noon-snack.
Hugs,
Mariette
That looks like a nice outing. Maybe you will get the run of the house again when the painting is done.
Glad you got outside and also that the painters are done for awhile! We’ve got work going on outside which means Lexi is stuck inside with us except for when Daddy takes her to an open area to run and, uh, do dog stuff.
I’m glad you got some fresh air <3
It sure looks nice outside!!
Great pics! Glad you got to go out. It’s been cold here so I don’t like hanging out in my catio for long.
