At a certain point in the late afternoon, sunlight comes through the living room shutters to make cool shadow effects. Usually, my human thinks they are too harsh and contrasty for good photos. But this time she decided to make use of them, and had me do some photos.
I tried a few different ways to pose for the camera.
The most challenging part for both me and my human was making sure the stripes fell in the right place and didn’t cover important parts of my face. It was hard trying to make the head tilt work.
Eventually we got it right.
And of course I had to stand up in a few photos.
Which poses did you like best? Let me know in the comments.

Hands down the first one Summer
I could not pick a favorite one. I love them all.
Have you ever counted (or do you normally) the number of treats
you can expect during a short photo session? Or, is it one treat
per picture? How about during a long session? We all know that
treats are always involved…even peach cat knows this.
These are all so pretty!
Those are great. Especially the last one.
What a fun set of photos! I like the first one best but they are all really good.
I like this. Mom’s son and she go round and round about shadow. Mom doesn’t mind it at all to see differing lighting in a picture. He can take a picture postcard quality and look photos. Mom likes “texture”.
Head tilt is by far my favorite.
Zebra Kitty ❤️
These are all adorable. I like the second one best because it shows your tail.
These are so cool, Summer. I like the second to the last one best.
