When I came to live here, I had no idea how much work it would involve! I didn’t realize that I’d have to be an employee for a publishing company. Along with supervising submissions and proof reading (okay, well, sometimes accidentally adding an error or two when I walk on the laptop), I’m in charge of the shipping department.
Inventory for Rescued Volume 2 came in this week, which means my human has a whole bunch of copies to send out! Copies to all 12 of the authors, along with 100 bookmarks each, and copies to reviewers. I’m glad I’m the supervisor of the shipping department and I don’t have to actually do all the packing myself.
And the cool part is I am also shipping out a copy of the book (and a bookmark) to my giveaway winner! And I think you will be excited about who it is, because many of you know them: Lola and Lexy! I think it is awesome that a pair of rescued cats (and pals) won a copy of Rescued Volume 2!
I also have a winner from my newsletter giveaway! That’s right, I had an extra giveaway for newsletter subscribers (which is why I always ask you to subscribe). I can’t announce them yet because I just emailed them and am waiting to hear back. So if you get my newsletter, check your email (including your spam folder!) to see if there is a message from me.
If you didn’t win a copy of Rescued Volume 2, please go buy a copy! If you love reading good stories about rescue cats, this book has a dozen of them! Here is where you can find it:
- Amazon’s Rescued Volume 2 page
- Rescued Volume 2 at Barnes & Noble
- The Kobo page for Rescued Volume 2
- Rescued Volume 2 on iBooks.
I also didn’t realize I worked for the sales department!
