Minor Tragedies and Annoyances
My human’s boyfriend was out of town for the better part of the month. As usual, Binga helped him pack.
So he missed the big news of September — the wooden shutters came off the window. This was not intentional on my human’s part — I heard her muttering something about nails coming out.
And I was right — the shutters smashed my beloved cat tunnel and now it is completely bent out of shape.
Instead of dealing with the shutters, my human packed her bags and left for a few days. Binga didn’t care, but Boodie helped her pack. Boodie loves doing this, since it means she can shed her light-colored fur all over my human’s dark outfits.
She also left a few tufts of fur on the suitcase itself for good measure.
I didn’t really care about the packing, but there was a really cool red ribbon on the suitcase handle that I enjoyed chewing on.
My human returned in less than a week, but her boyfriend was only back for one day before taking off again in a Winnebago with four other guys. So the heavy wooden shutters are still sitting on the living room floor, taking up a lot of the best places for sunning. Luckily I am a small cat, so there is still room for my naps.
