Sending Out My Secret Paws

December 9, 2010 By: Sparkle Cat31 Comments

I am really excited to be sending out this year’s Secret Paws package!

There is some pawsome stuff in here!

If I do not look excited it is because SOMEBODY is getting in the way!

She does this every time!

Check it all out: catnip toys, treats (including my favorite: Pit’r Pats!), and even a fleece blankie! Plus a bookmark too!

And I was very good - I did not chew on anything, not even once!

Of course all of us had to help wrap the box!

This is one step a human cannot do by herself!

It’s important to measure the wrapping paper to make sure it will cover the box completely. Here, you can see I am using my paw to gauge how much is needed.

I think this is just about enough!

Now you can see why we had to help — my human tried putting on the wrong color bow! We had to send her back to the closet to get a better one.

Can you imagine how tacky that would have been to leave it like that?

Then we had to put the present in the shipping box. Binga and I got in an argument over who got to do that part.

She wants to be in on everything!

I could not believe it — then Binga tried to ship herself! She takes these arguments so seriously.

I offered to tape the box shut myself.

It turned out that neither the package nor Binga got mailed in the flat rate box because it was cheaper to send it in a regular box. So that is what we did (without Binga inside). I hope my Secret Paws partner likes her presents!

We have to shop for our Secret Santa Paws gift this weekend. Binga, I think if we were getting our Secret Paws box and you popped out, we’d be thrilled. We could play play play! We might even let you climb our Christmas tree.

That is one very pretty wraped gift. you both did such a good job. Silly you Binga, trying to ship yourself. Rascal always loves to get in the boxes too! But, you wouldn’t want to leave such a wonderful home.

    Great job Sparkle and Binga!

Someone/cat will be very happy to receive that box of goodies. My Step-MIL lives in Greece and I guess they don’t have very many options when it comes to cat goodies and because her cat is her only child I love putting together packages with all the weird cat stuff you can find at stores around here.

You guys did a beautiful wrapping job. When our four felines help wrap it does not look that nice, obviously we, the humans, need to step back and let the cats do all the work since cats do it better!

Measure the wrapping paper? Gee, the mom doesn’t do that. Might be why she’s the world’s worst wrapper.

We’re sure your package will be received with excitement and delight, Sparkles!

We think your partner in your “Secret Paws” will be getting a great shed load of gifts. Fancy your mom putting the wrong colour bow on your colour co-ordinated gifts. We gave mum a list yesterday and sent her out into the cold to buy what we want to send to our “Secret Paws”. We will not doubt have to snoopervise her when the wrapping up is done or the bow could be under the paper!!

You guys did a great job wrapping that present. It’s good you’re keeping your bean straight on color coordination of bow to package. That is important.

    Have a great day.
