My human was concerned about how I would handle my first cat show in a year and a half. She was totally prepared to take me home if I didn’t want to be there for any reason! Well, of course it was like I’d never been away.
It all came back to me instantly! In fact, I was really excited to be there and start visiting with people. The best part is that some of the people that stopped by came because they saw me on TikTok.
I was more than happy to dress up, do my tricks, and headbutt the hands of all my of new friends!
And yes, I wore my kimono, and a couple of other outfits.
In case you are wondering, yes, I did have a young relative there. His name is Retro and he’s six months old, so he is competing in the kitten class. He was a little shy, and my breeder had my human bring him to the rings. That way he could get used to being handled by a stranger. Although by the end of the show, she wasn’t a stranger to him any longer!
My breeder also brought some sushi for lunch, which my human really appreciated because she forgot to bring her breakfast.
It was a long, tiring day — more for my human than for me! I was pretty excited most of the day. It felt really good to get back to cat show life, and I can’t wait for the next one!
