Photo Hunt: Wooden

September 17, 2011 By: Sparkle Cat36 Comments

Not cat toys, and not very lifelike either.

My human got these wooden folk art cats when she was in Austin for New Year’s Eve a few years back. As you can see, I don’t really like them. I was told in no uncertain terms that they were not cat toys, so can you blame me?

The things I do to keep the peace around here.

But just so I didn’t seem too querulous, I agreed to pose nicely. For about a minute.

Indeed! Anything you “must” pose with IS a cat toy. SO go ahead and do what you were thinking about doing.

Thank you for your comment on Jet’s post on House Panthers.

That is very magnanimous of you, Sparkle. I’m impressed you didn’t knock the wooden cats onto the floor (Melly would’ve).

Sparkle, with the way you are looking at them, we’re surprised they are still sitting there and aren’t on the floor.

    Dear Sparkle-mummy,

EVERYTHING is a cat toy. Unless it is in a locked cupboard.

    Sincerely,

What pretty poses you have with your old-time friends, even if you don’t like them.
Look at it this way, when you do play & whap with them, they won’t whap back!!!

You’re better than me. Whenever TW wants me to pose with some new toy or something, I either walk away, or turn away. BTW, we said the same thing about Willow being lucky that the NYC ACC actually checked her for microchip before offing her.
