When I saw this week’s theme — orange — I thought it looked strangely familiar. And I was right! This is the very same theme from August. But I can’t just post more photos of my fluffy belly and leave it at that. I hate to be redundant. But never fear, I have more orange for you:
My human brought it home a couple of years ago from one of her trips to Maryland. It is actually a pen, not a cat toy, but try telling that to Binga. She was trying to destroy play with it before my human could even take it out of the suitcase.
I had to agree with Binga — it is not a writing implement, it is a kitty toy implement!
I don’t think my human ever did use it as a pen. Every time she pulled it out, someone tried to attack it.
It looks absolutely irresistible. I think I’ll direct my human to produce one, or at least something of equivalent attack appeal.
That would have gotten pounced from all angles on in a millisecond as soon as anyone here caught a glimpse of it 😉
What’s that long thin thing for ? To jab the neighbor’s dog?
What a fun pen=of course, you guys have to whap it!…xoxo…Calle, Halle, Sukki
Now that’s my kind of pen!
It looks like a much better toy than a pen.
MOL! Good luck ta any Bein with a cat trying ta write with all that wavy stuff on the end of a pen! Ours hardly gets away with wavin a REGULAR pen around…
That makes a lot more sense as a cat toy than a pen. I want one!
Binga is so smart to figure out so fast that that was a toy and not a pen!
Isabella, another smart Tortie
Oh yea, you couldn’t help but whap that one!
We’d be on that in about 0.073 seconds, too!
Hee hee! That is a great cat toy…we mean pen…no, cat toy! Good ‘orange’ too, tho our mom person said she wouldn’t have minded seeing your floofy tummy again 😉

We took a vote. It is definitely a cat toy ^..^
Happy Saturday!

Ha! Now we have to look at our archive and see what we did last time for orange!
That pen would be a toy at any self-respecting cat’s house! Good take on the theme, Sparkle (and Binga)!
Your humans were in New York last time, so you missed that week! It was August 14.
It looks so tempting, I cannot imagine any cat not wanting to play with it. Those little ghosty things on the tips seal the deal!
We noticed that this was a repeat theme too.
That’s a cool cat toy!! Did you Mom really think she could use it as a pen?????
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
Definitely looks like a cat toy to us too!! But then again I think all pens are toys whether they are decorated or not!

Binga’s face is completely cracking me up!
It would be so much more fun to play with it than to do boring writing with it.
It looks more like a toy than a pen to me.
That does look like a great toy, never mind write something with it. We would be glad to attack it too. All those fevvers just need to be attacked. Enjoy your week end.
Very neat pen! Love the colors, no wonder Binga loves it…:-)
I’m with you, Sparkle. It looks like a cat toy that you write with!
Hope you have a great weekend!
Oh that pen is BEGGING to be attacked! Obviously it wasn’t intended for actually writing with.
How could your human even THINK of using that obvious play object for what it was originally designed for? It is YOURS!
Great “orange” images. . .

that is one cool orange toy!
oh, i thought your human is teaching you to write, hmnn, a novel perhaps?:p
have a great weekend!
A lovely post.
A pen? Really? But that would be such a waste.
Adorable fella with a cute orange toy.
My bits of orange.
