For this week’s Photo Hunt theme, my human pulled out some weird kids’ toy she found in an airport during some trip she took a couple of years ago. She forgot about it until just now.
You see, it is “magical.”
As you can tell I am not convinced that I will find this toy magical.
Even dumb toys deserve a touch test.
But you know what? It gave me a big surprise — it came to life!
Once it started moving around, so did my two annoying roommates! Boodie tried to kill it before I could get a paw in edgewise!
Then Binga got involved. I don’t think she appreciates the detail part of touch testing.
Finally my human made the other cats leave so I could have some play time. It was pretty amazing! The instructions said that there is a fine black string attached to this Squirmle thing, but I couldn’t see it. I think it was moving on its own!
Maybe it is a little bit magical after all!
WOW….OMG I remember these from when I was a kid! I had an orange one…
They even had ads for them on TV.
Tell me, do you also have a Lemon Twist???
We don’t! In fact, we don’t even know what one is!
Awesome post, what fun! Well those are magical pictures of all of you Ladycats for sure!
OMC We love these things, We have two of them!! They are so much fun to play with. Chloe loves her wormies! 🙂
It looks fun to play with!
What a cool toy! If we were to get one like that, Truffle would immediately grab it and take it off somewhere in the house to hide it!
Truffle and Brulee
I think she found a winner!
Pretty cool, Sparkle!
That does look magical and like a lot of fun! Love the action shots!
No kidding, that is pretty darn magical!
That does look like a magical toy. Any chance you could neogiate with your Mommie to let you play by yourself for say….a year or two?
Dear Sparkle,
Me thinks that is pretty magical! What a great toy!
Kisses
Nellie
Wow I’ll bet the Farm cats would like that too.
We were sorry to not see you on the BlogPaws list as we nominated you too
Wow, that looks like a cool toy, Sparkle!
ummm…not sure about ‘magikal’…but certainly PINK! But dude, ya gotta tell Binga to tone it down a bit…she definitely does not ‘get’ touch testing…first ya have’ta poke it, sniff it, etcetc…but then Sparkle, you are brilliant so I KNOW you ‘get it’
I would definitely say it is pretty darned magical!
Hmm. If there’s a black thread on that fing, I will find it and chew thru it.
Also, a kid’s toy? Really? Do their parents drag it across the floor while they leap at it wif their mighty claws?
I think it looks pretty magical, Sparkle…
And it’s PINK!
So does your human have to tug on the black string thing or can you play by yourself? …sometimes those humans are too *busy* for fun.
; ) Katie
pee s: thanx for the congratz on our nomination…we were bummed to not see your name. We nominated you for best writing. We love the way you write because you have the perfect mix of seriousness and humor. Plus you’re the most eloquent cat we know. xo
Well… now you realize that we want that toy! Sigh… another task for the human….
Sparkle that looks a fun toy – we’ll get Mum to look out for one if they have them in the UK.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Yay that is fun to play! Hope the kitty will have fun chasing it too. ^_^

Sparkle, that does look like a very successful toy. Too funny. Now we all need to get a Squirmlees toy. Wonder if they still make them. LOL Binga, that is a great picture of you. Take care.
The boys want one. That looks truly magical…
Have a great day.
pawhugs, Max
OMC, it’s like one of those squirming worm kids toys the mom had when she was about 8….Several decades ago. Hers was orange and she loved it. Seriously. Too funny to see something similar again.
Say, we wonder if our mom would be down on the floor playing with one now, instead of letting US chase it.
What a fantastic play thing! We kitties want to join in the squirmle fun 🙂
