We kitties who live with humans find ourselves surrounded by machines. Some machines are for doing good, such as being part of the cat blogging community.
Other machines are pure evil. I do not recommend getting this close to one of these. They are unpredictable.
Then there are weird machines that pose as cat toys. My suggestion: if your human brings home a so-called cat toy that needs a switch to start working, stay away! Fortunately I have not seen this thing since we moved.
MOL! That last pic of you seeking refuge underneath the chair is too cute!
Sparkle: The vacuum thing. We have one of those. Does yours work? Ours kinda stays in a corner. I think it’s an ornament–just like the piano in the living room. They are dangerous–I think if they’re turned ON.
Hey–Tommy says your human is smart to not get whipped cream covered Starbucks stuff. Less calories. Tommy says every calorie she makes settles on her hips. Humans are silly.

Those sucky machines are no good. We always hide when mom brings ours out!
That’s a scary looking so called toy! We’re not afraid of the vacuum cleaner but it is very annoying and disturbs our naps. We like the blog machine the best!
OMC! That yellow thing looks absolutely TERRIFYING! I know enough to stay away from the Sucky Monster too. The Human tells me that one of her Kitties Who Came Before (Mr. Teeth) was so calm and laid back, he actually LIKED TO BE VACUUMED all over his belly. How crazy is THAT?
I think you ladies are cute machines!!
That Oreck machine is the worst of the worst!
Bravo! 2 outta 3 ain’t bad!!! Hey, I have that same toy and that same vacuum thingy!
Sorry but we had to laugh at you hiding from that strange looking mouse.
We think you were very wise to take cover behind the chair. Who knows what that thing might do? And the Great Noisy Beast? We’re outta here!
Oh my Cats, Miss Sparkle – that last toy looks ridiculous! But the photo is hilarious!! hahaha
I think you have the appropriate categorizations!
I gots a dumby brofurr what loves da sucky machine. Him rides it while it makin da sucky sound and bein all noisyfied. MikiCato jus ain right in him head, thas all.
Come see the competition at our house. Da Large One started somethin him say folks might like to join.
Great photo hunt=we love that last photo of you taking cover from the enemy, beautiful Sparkle!…We hide from the loud monster, especially when it roars :)…Have a fun weekend, sweeties…kisses…Calle, Halle, Sukki
I have heard that the vacuum can suck up cat tails. Is it true?
I have heard they can suck up whole kitties!
You are brave, getting so close to the vacuum cleaner! Scarlett and Melly are NOT fans of my vacuum, even though it’s really quiet.
Me has a love hate relationship with machines. Me loves my iPad but me hates the vacuum and me loves Daddy’s remote car, but hates the ball that has feathers and rolls by itself when the switch is flicked!

Sparkle, I have never seen a yellow mouse like that! I agree – switches on cat toys spells trouble.
Good advice as usual… I never liked toys that chase me around either.
pawhugs, Max
Ohhhhh the vaccum…so scary! Is that last pic actually you? Too funny.
MOL your Panic Mouse is cuter than ours!!
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
(we hope this posts, our first try gave us an error message)
LOL, Sparkle! We were given the yellow mousey thingy, too. And it was not a big hit here, either. I think it is in the attic. Maybe we should give it away. (*sigh* I couldn’t even tell the truth to the bean who gave it to us… he was sooooo excited he found it for us.)
We would never get that close to mum’s vacuum cleaner – we worry it might eat us too!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
It is cute entry….Happy hunting…
Oh, Sparkle. I can see you live a dangerous life! I cannot believe how brave you were to move in so close to that vacuum cleaner! You are awesome!
Oooo – the bigger the machine the louder and more scary dey gets too.
Sparkle, those are terrific pictures. Love the third one with you under the chair. That is hysterical. That really is a scary looking toy. We will sure tell our assistant not to get one of those. Thanks for the laugh this morning.
Dad tried to vacuum my brother poo-face Salvador once. It didn’t end well.
Our cats would never get that close to the vacuum. . . and they would be asleep on teh keyboard *smile* Great shots for this week’s theme.
Have a good weekend.
Those vacuum cleaners are dangerous.
