Itchy — that was me the other day.
The weather has been a bit windy, which makes my skin dry and uncomfortable.
I could use a little humidity here!

Sitting by the warm fireplace makes us all itchy and scratchy too, Sparkle. I don’t like that part of winter. 🙁
hope you feel better already!
I’ve really missed visiting one of my favorite blogs. It’s such a feel good place. Things have been crazy busy over here. I hope you and yours are doing well!
I always get pretty itchy when the weather cools down…
Ernie
We get enough rain here that we aren’t dry and itchy very often. We hope it stays dry there for a little while longer because our mommy just found out her boss is taking her to Disneyland with her next weekend. Since she has to hang out with her boss, Mommy will plan on contacting your human the next time she visits which may be as early as April.
My human is actually going to be at the Cat Writers Conference, so she wouldn’t have been in town anyway — she hopes maybe April will work out!
PURRS2U! hope you got those itchies =^_^=
There is nothing like a good scratch when you have an itch.
Hey Sparkle if you have an itch you’ve got to itch it…
Oh yes, its that time of year when the air gets dry. The first time TBT gets static when he scratches us, he turns on the humidifier and everything is good again…
Okay… you want humidity… I’m in Florida and I’m mailing you a big box of humidity… for free.
pawhugs, Max
I think you took good care of the itch, babe! And tell your mom–she really needs to work on the “more cats will suffocate her when they curl close” thing. I say more cats the merrier–alas, when my human Tommy read your post, she said your mommy was quite smart in her thinking.
Hmm. Humans.

Good it was a one day thing. That has to be annoying! 🙂
That’s a really good “Itchy” photo, Sparkle. I hope you don’t get shocks from the dry air this winter.
One of the things I’m going to ask the vet tomorrow when we go for Ash’s recheck it if the patches on his ears could be psoriasis…that is pretty itchy stuff!
Tsk! How dare the wind be dry. It’s all so undignified.
Dry skin is No Fun. We get tuna in oils with added fish oil caps for our dry skin, maybe once a month. WE would prefer it everyday, but the no thumbs thing is draggin’ us down.
Mommy says she knows who Corey is! She’s read articles by him and about him in the RJ and City Life. Um, he’s crazypants!
Judging from what my human has said about him, Corey definitely IS crazypants! He has always been that way, she says – she has known him for about 19 years.
As Elton John would say, “The ITCH is back.”
Great photo hunt, beautiful Sparkle…We are trying to catch up with our wonderful friends on the weekends; our Mommy’s new job, along with her part time one, makes it difficult to visit during the week now…We hope you all enjoy a fun weekend together, sweet, lovely friends…kisses…Calle, Halle, Sukki
Hope the itch is gone now.
Have a great weekend.
Liz @ MLC
Well I hope you get un itchy! I don’t like to see you like that!
I am with you there Sparkle!
I hope you have an itch-free weekend Sparkle!
We know exactly how you feel!!!
The Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
Hai Sparkle,
Our Mom knows how you feel. We hope both of you get relief soon!
Happy Saturday to you,
~ Napoleon
I suggest some mouse milk creme for your skin then it would itch less !
We know how you feel, Sparkle. Luckily, (for us) Momma has to keep a humidifier going here.
We would love to see our mum scratching under her chin with her leg (not arms that would be cheating)!!
We hope your itchy feeling goes away – we don’t want it to disturb your beauty sleep.
So true. Everybuddy here is talking about the under-the-chin itchies. Must be the dry air here, too. Oh, humans would definitely get leg cramps doing what we do so naturally.
xoxoTom
Cross, scratchy cat! Poor you. Hope you are no longer itchy. I have cats on my PhotoHunt post this week, too.
i hope you wouldn’t scratch so much, think of your beautiful skin.:p
ah I see, I did not know that.
You are beautiful/handsome even when itchy.
So… if the air is dry, does this mean you have to lick yourself more to stay more moist? ;O
Ah nothing like claws and a flexible spine to get at an annoying itch! Super photos
