Like all kitties, we hate closed doors and when we moved in September 2006, we were faced with a lot of closed doors!
It all started when my human stuck us all in carriers, put us in the car, and drove for what seemed like forever! I later heard it was three blocks. (They must have been extra long blocks!) Then we were shut up in some room.
Out the window, we could see all of our belongings arriving!
Binga got locked up in a room by herself because she has a bad temper when she is closed up in a room.
Because the house was so big, my human introduced it to us by degrees. We were closed off from the living room for several days.
Finally we were allowed up into the living room. It was amazing! too bad it is all cluttered with the humans’ belongings now.
I agree, I agree, closed is not good at all!
Great pictures of the theme today. I hate closed doors!
I understand about the clutter!
But closed doors always open again! A wonderful series of fun photos!
We hate closed doors too, Sparkle. We think there shouldn’t be doors anywhere!!
Quite a move you had to go through, my friends! Glad things are settled now, even though there’s still the matter of the closed doors..

Dang, poor Miss Binga getting thrown in iso! Our brothers trained our mom good – there are rarely any doors shut here!
see!? and it is because they did not let you arrange the furrrrniture. Now look at the clutter!
Same as my place, Sparkle!

No one likes closed doors. Good thing cats are escape artists.
My ‘Closed’ post
You had to travel 3 very long blocks and then be closed off for awhile longer! How traumatic! Glad you all rule the roost now!
I hate closed doors. I like being on the bigger side of the closed door!
Wow. I would like a house to myself. I have to share my barn with Abby. And the other goats.
I think I deserve my OWN house.
I will NOT even allow a closed CLOSET door in my house! I scratch and scratch on the door until it magically opens. OK, until the peeps open it for me. Believe me, they have no privacy, even in the bathroom.
Looking out the window like that in the third shot reminds me of the time when Mom Kitty jumped out a third story window just to get outside. We failed to shut her out while the construction was going on.
We are starting to suspect that Binga is bad tempered, whether the doors are opened or not!
In our house all doors are always open ! otherwise they would be completely demolished by our lovely cats, yes they hate closed doors and they meow or scratch until the door is open even when they don’t go into the room ! lol !
what a most delightful entry for this theme. come and see my furbabies as they populate my entry for this week.
These are so cute!
We all hate them, but Sukki goes a little crazy over closed doors=she really trys to break them down!…You guys have an amazing house…We love seeing all three of you beauties=happy weekend, sweeties…Calle, Halle, Sukki
They seem very curious and don’t want closed doors. Hope the theme will be opened next week 😉
Closed doors are the worst – should NOT be allowed!
Closed doors are hateful – we always do very piteous cries when we are shut in – mum says we ought to win an “oscar” for the purrformances we put on!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Sparkle, that must have been quite a trauma for all three of you at first. But it seems that your new house is very nice.
Closed doors are the very worse. We hate when the doors are closed too. There is only one room here that is closed and we are always trying to get in there. Glad you and your roommates finally got into the whole house. Hope you have a fun week end.
People. What can you do with them? They think they know how things should be. Glad you survived the move!
It is rather limiting to stay in a confined room 🙂
