We cats do not do “caged” very well, so my human had to go back to October 2004 (again!), when we had to stay at the Cat Hotel because our house was being tented for termites. My human actually looked all over the place for the photo card from that time to see if there were any interesting outtakes, but she could only find them going back to November, 2004. Figures. When it comes to finding stuff, she is pretty useless.
In my opinion, then as now, cages are not good things.
Especially when you have to be in one with an angry tortie! If I did not like being caged, Binga hated it maybe 10 times more! It is a good thing she did not behave that way when she was in a cage at Los Angeles City Animal Control, or my human would have never adopted her!
Us don does Cages either/neither/also. Cages is for to put barkies in when they wakes up ….. well they should stay in dere. Other dan dat, cages is for boids.
I so glads we doesn’t needs to do da cage bit.
We don’t like cages, either. But that cage is so huge! It’s much better than small ones!
Oh, you poor things! We hope you get outta that prison soon!
A ticked off tortie? Oh Bast, I’m glad you survived Sparkle!
Three days is a cage with a ticked off tortie! That sounds like three very long days.
If you had to be in a hotel you could at least have been in the Beverly Wilshire instead of a cage! Sheesh! And we think Binga is so cute there’s no way your human could have passed her up no matter what!
Well at least you had a photo hunt picture, and a nice one at that (minus the cage). We couldn’t find anything, we have no cages here either, and no photos of anybody in cages. Better luck next week!
We wouldn’t like to be in a cage. It must have been scary.
Wow! We don’t think we would survive in a cage together!!
OMC! You had to stays in a cage hotel when your house was being tented? Dat does not look likes fun at all. How long did you has to stay dere? I hope it wasn’t long.
We had to stay there forever! Like three days.
COD !!! Mom plan to send me to that place ( lots of cage ) when she is going to oversea. I don’t think I love to stay in there whole day !
xoxo
We have never been inna cage before (well, right after our operations, but we dont remember that very well). Marley say hes been in them before and they are not good!

We’re with you, Sparkle – no cage is a good cage. The Cat Hotel design is kinda cool. Our mom has been looking at things like that for a catio for us. have a great weekend!
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie
We don’t like cages, either, Sparkle. As for Binga … maybe the cage brought back memories of being at Animal Control…
Have a great weekend, friends. 🙂
I don’t like to be caged either, I can be terrified. When my beans need to travel many days, like when they go to Brazil, I have a “friend, a catsitter that came to our flat to give me fresh water and food and some cuddles! 🙂
So, I can stay at home without problems.
but I miss my beans a lot. When they came back, I pretend to ignore them for some days! LOL

Hmmm, I go into my pen every night and it looks a little like your cage. I feel safe in it because I know the wolves and mountain lions can’t get me.
Poor Sparkle! But its better than being in the house when they spray the bug stuff!!!
Bet yous will be happy to gets home!

You poor caged dears! At least you had a nice big cage – the kitty hotels around here have eensy little ones.
I hope this doesn’t bring back too horrible memories. I should think that is just terrible to have to remember–shudders.
Not fun to be caged!
Cages are bad things, but at least you had room to move around and climb in that one. I bet your ooman felt bad at having to put you there too.
I think she remembers those days at LA Animal Control and that’s why she didn’t like being caged. But, whoa! look at the size of that cage.
We agree, Sparkle: NOT a pretty sight!
It was probably her time in Animal Control that made her weird about cages now. Gotta cut her some slack.
ACK! We looked for Binga first off and thought “uh oh”…You poor thing to have to be so near a ticked-off Tortie! We avoid May Ling like the plague when she’s in a mood.
Which is often.
Cute photos in a bad situation, but you guys are always adorable!…Hope you all are having a fun weekend, sweet friends…xoxo…Calle, Halle, Sukki
We don’t like having to go in our carriers either firstly because we don’t like being shut in and secondly because it usually means a car ride, and blood getting stolen too and lots of other unmentionable things.!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
We go into a big cage when the bug man comes to the house. We hate it!

At least it was plenty big, that is lots better than those tiny ones!
We hate cages too. Luckily we don’t have to be in any right now. They really do make some cats kind of nuts. But Sparkle that is such a good picture of you standing on the gate. It is so sad when kitties have to stay in cages.
Wow, that is a sizable cage, but definitely a cage. I bet you all were super glad when the termite control stuff was done.
How can you call anything with bars a “hotel”? Sparkle, I hate cages, too. Fortunately, I haven’t had much experience with them, at least none I remember, anyway.
Have a good weekend!
Tom

Cages cause so much distress to animals! I really don’t like them! Lovely photos!
LOL!
Mine hates it too.
I think human hotels look a little better, lol ! I hope you didn’t have to stay there too long !
I don’t like being caged either. Let’s put the humans in a cage and see how they like it!
