One of my favorite toys when I was a kitten was this floppy Santa. It was very killable.
It was actually Binga’s. She had gotten it the year before my human brought me home. So actually, this toy is older than I am!
In fact, Binga and I bonded over the toy. After that she decided that she did not hate me as much!
But one day the dog ripped its arms off! The Santa toy was broken. It was a tragedy.
Actually, I still play with it! So maybe it is not really all that broken after all.
A toy that important to yer relationship with Binga should be cherished (even repaired?) . But we agree that a missing arm should not stop it from being played with.
My dear, I think you deserve a crate of those santas for xmas! Ask Santa for them!
… heyyyy waitasecond….
Too bad the woofie got at it, but it must be an awesome toy cause everyone liked it so much. Great pictures.
Great toy, Sparkle! It looks perfect for practicing your bunny kicks, with or without arms.
Killed toys are still good. Stupid dog.
We’re glad your Santa is still playable Sparkle! We love the photo of Binga holding the toy too!
That toy isn’t broken…it’s just well-loved!!
Glad you can still enjoy your santa!!
I love the photo of Binga holding the toy 🙂 So adorable!!
It must smell REALLY good by now! Tasty too. Looks like Santa had limb-resconstruction surgery?
Just maimed, not broken – LOL!!! Are we sure it was the dog? 🙂
That is a very special toy, but at least it is not totally broken!
It isn’t broken. You have given it character and it is yours!
Enjoy, have fun, and play hard!!
We don’t have a dog, however I got a toy like that too. It was small and I pretty much chewed one of its arm off. Very killable as you say. I still like it. I think Santa will stay with you for a long time…all together or not… 🙂
Sometimes broken isn’t
My dog can’t have any more toys like that. She will destroy it in under 3 min.
Here’s My Photo
Oh that was a sad demise for your toy!
Woofies do have a way of breaking things, don’t they?
Truffle
Don’t be sad. That toy looks like it still has a lot of playing to do.
It may be broken, but it looks like it still has alot of luffin left in it! Great story! Purrs.
Love the interesting facts and story about the Santa. Nothing better to play with than a battered broken toy.
Still looks functional to us! Have a great weekend!!!
Santa looks like a fun toy. Sometimes things are just as good even if they are a bit broken.

Sparkle, you and Binga are such sweethearts to share your fun toy=great photos!…We think it’s always important to keep on killing the toys until you are absolutely sure they are dead :)…Have a fun Halloween weekend, lovely friends…xoxo…Calle, Halle, Sukki
Love your take on the theme.
Have a fabulous weekend.

Isn’t he yummier without his arm?? We’ve got some well-loved toys around here like that, but they just seem to get better with age.
Now dat looks like a fun santa to play with. Bat Bat! Whomp!
We have some real chewed up toys and we still love to give them a good whapping – they must enjoy it as we’ve never heard them complain.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Poor Santa! He still looks like he’s got a lot of life left in him.
mom says that so long as there aren’t loose strings and stuffing, toys are still good!!! Which is a great thing cause some of ours look a little bit beat up….
I am glad your human did not just discard it, Sparkle. I also posted about broken toys. Great kitty minds think alike.
That does look like a fun toy. Probably makes it more interesting to be a little bit broken. Sure looks like a fun toy. Take care.
no toy’s too broken to still be loved and played with =]
It’s bigger than a Greek Tragedy!
How cute is Binga cuddling the toy! We’re glad you can still have fun with the toy, Sparkle.
I think it’s only broken if you cant possible get any more play out of it. That Santa looks good to go for quite a while.
pawhugs, Max
