When we last left the Whipper Snapper Wand, it was broken because Binga had ripped the toy off its wire. Or so I thought.
It turns out that the toy is actually removable. You can slide it on and off the wire — you can even replace it with a new toy, or “lure,” as they like to call them. So it wasn’t broken after all!

My human put it back together for me and now it’s good as new!
She also told Binga not to play so roughly with it. But I don’t think she was listening.

You can’t tell a cat not to play rough with their toys. They are hunting. 🙂 At least mine is. It’s very serious and she goes for the kill.
The cat who owns me regularly goes through a favorite kind of toy that has a soft ball, which is supposed to be re-attachable on one end, and feathers on the other end. First the soft ball gets permanently detached, and then the feathers get pulled out. It’s always ends up a horrible mess.
That’s one cat that knows what she wants, and she takes it.
@Nina – I don’t chew strings, but Binga loves to chew – and EAT them! So my human never lets her near string toys without lots of supervision.
@Victor – The only good toy is a dead toy, for sure!
Cat toys should be MADE fur ruff play! I’s glad it’s not broked. Beans has a few good uses. We has wand toys wif wire insteada string (so Nina can’t gnaw it apart) but eventually, da wire breaks offa da wand. So far, we has two mousies tied to ofur fings instead of da wands an they is STILL FUN TO KILL!
Purrs,
Victor & Nina
PS Oh, Nina here, if you ever gnaw strings, which is really fun, don’t swallow. It makes Mom worry.
That’s a great broken post. It’s fun to get a surprise like that once in a while, isn’t it?

You definitely need a Zhu Zhu pet! nothing to break.
Cute. Enjoy your weekend.
Looks like a fun toy and one that both you and Binga can enjoy!
“wore” toy??? I have no idea what I was thinking when I typed “wore”. Sighhh…
We once took in a cat, barely out of kittenhood. He was rather traumatized when he met our existing cat, Benjamin. It took him a full two weeks to get him to trust me and I finally won him over with a “Cat Dancer”, one of those wore toys with twisted paper on the ends.
I was sitting in the kitchen in my shorts and playing with the cat, flipping the toy back and forth. He was getting ready to punch when I flipped it across my lap with my lap between his and the toy… I can still see the look in the cat’s eye as he came through the air, all four sets of claws outstretched at the moving toy… and me realizing that my bare legs were between him and the toy…
EEEEEOOOOOWWWWW!
I still have scars!
Glad the toy was not broken!
Thank you for visiting earlier posts.
Best wishes

When cats play, they play hard.
🙂
Wow, that is a nifty toy, it has all kinds of things you can add to it. So you almost have a new toy everyday. Hope you have a super Saturday.
Looks like someone is fishing for cats with their lure. Glad you only thought it was broken.
Thanks for visiting my blog.

Oh I am SO glad! I looked for this toy at Pet Smart the other day, and didn’t see it. Where did you get it? I think Livvy would love it. 🙂
Great photos for the theme this week.
My human got it at PetCo – sometimes it has different toys from PetSmart. It’s available online too – the first post I wrote on the toy has an affiliate link to Drs. Foster and Smith, but I’m sure you can find it at some of the other online places too.
hehheeh cool and creative way in presenting the topic. Happy hunting…Mine is up too.
What a cute toy — and yes, can definitely see cats having fun with it! 🙂
*whispers* Don’t mess with BInga
She’s bootiful, but dangerous.
Haha I’m glad to see that the kitties were vindicated! Still I bet it is just too good a game to play nice! Happy weekend
