This was a very busy weekend for me! I got to visit with loads of people both Saturday and Sunday.
Here’s my spot where I hung out to greet people. Yes, I even rang the bell a few times! I must have done a good job of being social because lots of people took the CFA literature. And my business card. And some humans even took the bookmarks my human brought for Rescued Volume 2! She thinks people may have even bought books later.
I had several wardrobe changes.
A lot of people liked my BatCat costume! I didn’t wear outfits the whole time, though. My human wanted people to feel how soft my fur was, so most of the time I went outfit-free.
Sunday morning, I was a little fidgety, so my human put the harness on me and let me go walking around part of the show hall. That was fun!
But mostly I sat in my little area and let lots of people pet me and photograph me. And I did tricks and High Fived a lot of children!
When I got tired, I’d rest in my enclosure, but people could reach in and pet my tummy. I didn’t mind… in fact, I liked it!
Meanwhile, my half-brother Sizzle was busy getting judged. He was only there on Saturday — his human is also a Pointer breeder, and she had a dog show on Sunday.
He was very good about the judges handling him in the weird ways that judges do.
One judge even kissed him!
Out of four rings, he got two finals, which was good for a competitive show. It was the last show of the season, and lots of humans were trying to get a few extra points for their cats.
I was glad I could just relax, not be judged, and the people had to come to me.
