We were given the Trixie Fantasy Board Interactive Cat Toy to try out (no compensation, just the toy). It’s a treat dispenser with four different challenges! My human figured that Binga and I were so smart (and so treat motivated) that we would figure out all of them. So you can see why we wanted to give it a try.
So here it is. On your right is the “Digging Module,” where we have to fish the treats out from a bunch of ping pong type balls. The blue part in the middle is the “Cascading Module,” and the treats will all be in the indentations. The “Throwing Module” requires us to get the treats out of the little bowls on the left (something about catapulting). And lastly, the “Tongue Module,” which is a narrow trough, and you have to use your tongue to get the treats.
I really enjoyed the Digging Module lots!
Binga liked the Digging Module too, but I think my favorite was the Cascading Module. If you’d like to see us in action, here is a short video below. My human threw it together from several clips.

As you can see, we really enjoyed knocking the ping pong balls out of the Digging Module! It was a big fail for Boodie. she just sat there, hoping one of us would drop a treat that she could steal. She is not very bright.
But Binga and I weren’t as smart as we thought we were either — neither of us figured out the Throwing Module! The two cups totally baffled us, even with my human’s help. How embarrassing.
So I have to admit that the Fantasy Board beat us! At least we got lots of treats while we were playing. Trixie has a new, upgraded activity center now… but I don’t think we’d be any better at it!

That toy looks like fun!! We have the newer updated version that you mentioned. The cats like it mostly. Cute video!
You three make grr-eat toy testers! I think you should get that official title and get paid for the gig, too! I don’t have one of those interactive toys, but I do have two jingle balls. They got lost a lot though under Mom’s furniture. I bet you’ll have that Throwing Module in no time. Maybe it just didn’t capture you’re interest that purr-ticular day. Kisses.
Gosh…That looks like a fun toy! I bet it would go big over here.
Since Kozmo, Jo Jo and Ninja arrived I, Marvelous have become much more treat motivated. We LOVE when Mom shakes the treat jar and we come running!

That looks like a fun and challenging toy, Summer. We think maybe Boodie is smarter than you all think … all she had to do was wait for those treats. 🙂
Poor Boodie looks oblivious to what is going on!
Summer that is one epic toy, we loved your video, we loved the post – now to see if we can get one in the UK???

That Fantasy Bord looks like a lot of fun ! Pixie is like Boodie, she’s not interested in working for treats, but I love those activities ! I already have three Activity Bords, and I succeed in getting all the treats in no time ! Purrs, Zorro
HAH! That actually looks like fun. TW didn’t think I’d like it. Poor Boodie. I hope she got some treats.
Mom thinks this would be good for Sawyer to keep him occupied. He is totally food motivated, and can spend tons ofttimes trying to get treats out of his CatAmazig box. The price is definitely right. Mom thinks she’ll get one for him. Thanks for the review.
I think Mudpie would have a blast with that! I think she just might be adding it to her Christmas list 🙂
You still look very pretty!
Seeing the top of your head, accents your beautiful shiny fur!
My mommy just put a bright green ping pong ball and throws it around in the tub for me. Now it is there all the time and I love digging it out of the drain and batting it around. It goes up the sides and the end and around and back again. What fun. I don’t need treats to play. Plus the tub is nice and cool on hot days!
^^ Pretty Cat!!
it looks interesting, but those balls wouldn’t stay in there very long in our house….Daiquiri would pull them all out for fetch
We really enjoyed watching the video with all three of you. But please be nice to Boodie, Summer!
Purrs,
The Chans
Poor Boodie, I hope your human gave her some treats. My cats can’t figure that part of the game out either 🙂
Those look pretty tricky! We are impressed you solved 3 of the 4. And we bet you solve the 4th soon!
We hope Boodie got a consolation treat at least. We don’t know what we’d do with a toy like that. We do know that our old bro William would have probably just tipped the whole thing over to get to the treats!
I’m surprised Binga didn’t try that!
Three out of four is pretty good. Plus, you had fun and treats.
That’s a cool toy, Summer!
Boodie, was the smart one. She just waited for the treats. The ping pong balls did look like fun. I think some of the cats here would enjoy that.
We think Binga is the smart one not working so hard to get some treats…and just waiting for them. Of course, she didn’t get many that way. 🙂
Now that look’s very interesting. Maybe challenging…we shall see. Love your expression in the last pic, MOL. Maybe we should start a new “challenge” seeing who can beat the game. Thanks a bunch for your reviews. Purrs
OH my cats Summer I would have failed miserably at all of the tests…Mom says my attention span is less than an Ant.
Well done on what you did accomplish
Hugs madi your bfff
We enjoyed that video! I wonder what Brother Simon would do with that thing.
I bet that was so much fun to use,xx Speedy
We can see that you and Binga overcame most of the challenges 😉
Looks like it was fun too!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
You girls make great movie stars! Boodie is the most beautiful (vintage movie star material) You are the feisty Reese Witherspoon character from Legally Blonde (look beautiful and are scarily smart!) and Binga is Lara Croft (fearless, totally utterly and epically fearless…..)
That looks cool! Poor Boodie…..
