Do you know what’s still my favorite cat toy, even after, like, a billion cat years?
My fuchsia feather monster! I think it first showed up around April 2004.
Just a few months ago my human shot a movie in which the feather monster and I almost battled to the death!
It may not be as fluffy as it used to be, but I think I will still be able to kill it a bunch more times.
I’ve trained my human to not throw out any of my toys, no matter how ratty they get.

We can see that toy is a favorite, Sparkle. Nice photos. We just got a new batch of toys – but we have to share.

meow,
when I was little, in Borneo, we used to make a little toy like yours and our cats loved them.
I still have a couple toys from when I was just a kitten and sometimes the Human brings them out and I remember how much fun they still can be! I still lubs my little cardboard-tubie things-on-a-bendy-wire! Say, Human, would you go get that for me now?
I completely agree with you, Sparkle! Feathers are the very best of the best in toys!
Purrs,

We have a special feather toy that is old too – they make the best ones.
Well, you know that old expression, they don’t make ’em like they used to! We’re glad your feather toy has held up so well, Sparkle!
I can see why you like it, give it a whap for me!!!
We don’t let our mom throw out any of our toys either! Love that burgundy feather you have there!

Oooh! Your movie was very exciting, Sparkle. 🙂 Your toy looks like lots of fun – those are the kind of toys we like too!

That color looks amazing against your fur, Sparkle! And what a bonus that it’s fun to play with too 🙂
That looks like a very fun toy, Sparkle.
Old toys are the best toys and it’s good your human finally realizes that! Now we need to work on getting our mommy to realize that.
Old toys are always the best. They sort of mature wiv age. Yoor fevver toys is awesome.
Sparkle, you sure know a good toy when you see one. I lovelovelove the squeakymousefeatherwand toy you sent us…I drag it everywhere! Daddy really enjoys it when I howl & moan and bring it into bed at night…he puts it in the drawer for safekeeping!

Old toys are great!

We think some of the older toys are the best ones. Hmmm, maybe today is a good day to dump over our toy box? Happy Friday!
That sure looks like a toy to stay true to 🙂
We have a toy like that and we have forgotten all about it. We will have to have our assistant look for it. She had better now have thrown it away. Wonder if they make them anymore. We know you have some kills left in that one. Take care and have a fantastic week end.
We can see how much fun you get from your feather monster from the determined look on your face – we bet you always win!
Dat looks like a cool toy pal. I has one of those in yellow. It’t fun with the ooman wiggles it under a chair and I have to reach under it to paw at it.
I still have the very first mouse my mum ever bought for me, on my first day in my new home. That was nearly five years ago now!
Oh that is a GREAT TOY Sparkle…
That looks like a great toy, Sparkle! We had one of those…it wasn’t fushia though…and it musta been a cheaper version, because Ernie pulled almost all the feathers out!!

Fuchsia feather monster looks great. Love the color combinations in these pictures. Have a great day, Sparkle.
I play with my toys until the fabric literally rots away. I’ve got Mama well trained, so she sews the toys together until she just can’t do it anymore. Right now, I’m all about my fishie: I leave it as a gift for Mama on her chair, I bring it with me to bed, I curl around it when I go to sleep. It’s awesome–and it smells just like me and my wonderful breffs!
