When I was getting ready to visit Santa Claws, at first I was all excited!
But it turned out to be a big disappointment. It was a different Santa Claws from last year, leading me to believe he might be an impostor! I didn’t squirm too much or act mean or anything, but I made it clear I didn’t really want to pose with him.
This was the finished photo, and as you can see, it was not very good.
As punishment for making me pose with him, I made him hold my leash while I wandered around the photo area. I just want to say, the people after me didn’t even have a pet — they had a human baby with them! And while I did not behave well, the baby didn’t like Santa even more and started crying. Of course, I was nice to the baby when I met him a few minutes later.
I was glad when we were done with Santa Claws so I could help my human do some shopping.
Some of the critters I got to look at were weird! This one didn’t have any hair.
The best part was watching these guys! It was like watching a birdie circus. They made the whole trip to the pet store worthwhile.
Awww
Oh, Summer! I don’t blame you one bit! 😉
Meow meow sorry yore visit with Mistur Pawss was nto so much fun! Mind you THE birdie circuss looks purrty fine!
**purrsss** BellaDharma
That is the worst excuse for a Santa we’ve ever seen. We cannot blame you for not wanting to pose with him. Getting to see the birdies was a plus however. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
We’re pretty sure that Santa was an imposter, Summer. Either that, or Mrs. Claws has had him on a diet.
That was kind of a sad looking Santa
Yeah, that Santa Claus is missing some pizzaz and definitely needs an upgrade to his photo backdrop! Tee hee hee. Sorry the visit wasn’t what you had hoped it would be, but at least that circus seems to have been worth your time. Hugs.
An imposter?!? The FBI should be notified! That should be against the law. You do look cute, though.
You were right Summer, that Santa was an imposter. No wonder you didn’t want to deal with him. Glad you had fun watching the bird circus.
oh dear, he doesn’t even LOOK like Santa Claus! I’m sorry you didn’t have more fun with Santa because you looked so cute in your collar. At least you got a chance to see some interesting things while you were out shopping.
Oh I think I would have done the same thing with this FAKE SANTA GUY……he had to be a stand-in for the real one. He looks bored, too skinny, and I’m thinking you were picking up on his “VIBE” – it just screams his thinking…..”why did they stick me with this Santa photo gig???!!!!”……………you still look adorable.
Hugs, Teddy
At least the SantaPaws I got to sit on was jolly and soft and um…rotund! Sorry you didn’t care for this SantaPaws ‘imposter’, MOL!
I think I would have enjoyed the walk around the store too…esp the birds:) Did you chatter at them?
Hey Summer, I’m pretty sure that was not the REAL Santa. He looks pretty skinny and unhappy and not jolly at all. No wonder you were kinda bummed out. I’m glad you got to go have fun in the store. Those things look way more fun than that sad-sack Santa.
That was definitely not Santa! Maybe it was one of Santa’s elves. I’m sure Santa is super busy this time of year and can’t be everywhere!
santa has lost a lot of weight.
oh my!! Summer!! That is the most pitiful looking Santa I have EVER seen! You poor kitty!
Whoa! He didn’t even look like Santa. What a fraud. I bet the dogs didn’t even notice.
It’s clearly true–he’s not the real Santa! It’s nice that you were kind to that baby who also knew the truth.
Looks like Santa has been missing a few meals 🙂
That Santa looks emaciated! I’m glad you enjoyed the bird circus. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to watch.
That was NOT Santa! Seriously. This guy is a fake, and you knew it. Paws up for putting your paw down here. The real thing or nothing.
He certainly doesn’t look like a very friendly Santa!
That fake Santa couldn’t fool you ! He’s obviously too young and too skinny ! Purrs
You look very pretty, Summer!!
And, he seems like not only a SLIM Santa Claus, but a YOUNG Santa Claus!
Santa needs to have a big fat lap to lay on! Maybe this “helper” will grow into a fat Santa in the future. Love your festive and beautiful collar!
Laila
That Santa needs pumpkin pie, cookies and milk.
Summer, that holiday collar is adorable on you! Really brings out your green eyes.
Obviously, Santa is very busy, so this ‘Santa’ was just a helper, just like the guy last year. This guy, however, needs more meat on his bones…
Summer it was not your fault and a dress would not have helped, YOU WERE REACTING TO HIS BODY LANGUAGE.
the impostor needed a joy…pill he did not appear to be enjoying himself and he was not familiar with proper cat handling.
Hugs Cecilia
At least you got to tell Santa what you want for Christmas Summer.
Isn’t it true you don’t care to be held on the laps of strangers? Maybe next
year you can just sit next to Santa. Anyway, you looked very pretty for
your visit.
A Santa at a pet store that wasn’t pet friendly, the Santa I mean, not the pet store. Our animal friends know best, next year they should audition their Santa…Love your photos.
I met the real Santa this year, Summer! He is a huge cat-lover and has two black cats, one over 20. You would have enjoyed posing with him.
You gave Santa the cold shoulder! Too funny. Glad you got do do something fun like shopping afterwards.
OMC! Summer, that Santa was too skinny!
That Santa looked like he was a Santa “in training” he looked way too young than grandpaw Santa, MOL. They could have at least had a Christmas themed background too. You did your best sweetie and the photos are funny. And what a ggreat way to end the day by visiting the birdies. Purrs
We wouldn’t have been impressed with that Santa either sweet Summer!
Summer, that Santa is not exactly what we expect, is he and he didn’t seem too enthusiastic. No wonder you were thinking of moving g on to the good stuffs…like the birdies and cat trees. The expression on your face in several of these got mom really laughing! You look adorable and that first picture in the car…oh you looked so gorgeous (of course).
Oh dear, thank goodness for the birds because Santa looks like he’s been on a diet.
I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at that final photo. Haha.
I can see by looking at that Santa why you were not impressed with him. You are right, clearly an impostor.
That Santa is very thin…..
Oh dear Summer, I, as a human would have burst out laughing at that clear impostor. What a poor excuse for a Santa, he clearly needs some cookies lol
