I didn’t think I was going to visit Santa this year. Because there are still Covid restrictions, the pet store chain I usually go to wasn’t doing Santa visits. But then my human checked the other chain that’s a little farther away — and they were! So she brought me down.
I was a little bit distracted, so the photos that Santa’s helper was taking weren’t turning out that great. Finally my human got the idea that maybe I should give Santa a high five.
It worked! I don’t have a video of the high five, but if you want to see a quick clip of my visit, you can see it on TikTok.
After I visited with Santa, we stopped by the store’s holiday display. They actually had some good stuff!
Yes, we got this hat… and a couple of other things. You’ll see them soon!
My human placed me here while we were in the checkout line so I didn’t have to be in my sling carrier. (I much prefer being free on my leash.) Note behind me that they offer therapy dog classes. What about therapy cats? How come we cats are left on our own to figure it out for ourselves?
It was the one annoying moment of the whole outing.
