After my pet store visit where my human hung her mask on my head, she thought it would be fun to have me model her masks here. Don’t expect anything fancy. Her masks are pretty plain and boring. I’m sure I’ll be the most interesting part of this experiment.
Here I am, wearing the mask from the other day again. It’s in my human’s favorite color, black. It came from our state’s health insurance network. Actually they sent two, but the second one was in a color that doesn’t go with anything my human wears.
There’s a fun story behind this mask. My human got it when we dropped off her ballot. They were giving it away with the free ice cream. She had a couple of errands to run later, and she proudly wore it. If you are wondering about the cat toy attached to it (and I bet you are), it’s the only thing my human had on hand to keep the mask around my torso. She thought she was so smart to come up with that.
This mask with the cute cat print was made by a friend of my human’s. It’s actually the only interesting mask she has.
My human has a bunch of these masks. Except you usually don’t see them on her when she goes out. She usually wears them under another mask because she does not think they are terribly attractive. Plus two masks are better than one, right? The only time she wears them by themselves is when she has to answer the door, or for a worker.
This isn’t really a mask, although it was originally sold as one. But my human liked the way it looked, so she sometimes wears it over a real mask. Someone has a photo of her wearing it, and a Zorro hat, at the 99 Cent store. Don’t ask me — I wasn’t there with them.
That’s it! I hope you enjoyed my mask modeling! Now, can I have a treat?

I know they are more helpful to your human and I love the Zorro mask but you are the cutest moewdel.
MOL Summer! Mew make effurything supurr interesting! XX
Well, yes, you are the most interesting part – you usually are.
The cat print is especially nice. I just use the blue paper masks
all the time – nothing stylish.
I got a good chuckle seeing you model the first black mask. Maybe it’s because your ears are hidden, but I think it is very funny (and cute).
You are the most patient cat in the universe. TW would have def. ‘shopped out that cat toy. TW has some fancy masks but they’re all too big on her and keep wanting to cover her eyes so she mostly wears the boring blue ones.
You look great in anything.
You look fabulous modeling your mom’s masks! I like the one with the cat print.
Petcretary has a whole collection of different kinds of masks, too, but she hasn’t ever thought of putting any on us, LOL!!
You are a patient model, Summer!
The cat one one is cute!
You’re a pawsome model for anything!
Mom has a bunch of different ones and got one from her health insurance too. Only one mask with a cat on it????
The Florida Furkids
Gosh! You look great wearing the masks! And the wand toy is a great touch!
Our Mom’s masks are weird…her favorites, now that it is winter, are the paper ones, her glasses don’t steam up quite as badly and she does not walk into things!

You look good modeling those masks, Summer.
That was a fun post, Summer! #1 has some pretty colourful masks, including (of course) some with horses, all teh way from Japan!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
You make every thing look cute and fashionable sweet Summer!
I wish I had bought stock in mask companies a year ago.
Mine are more boring. They are all plain black with the maker’s logo on. The logo is handy because I can tell Ivor when he has put his on upside down, which is often!
Nice mask modeling Summer – I think you deserve more than one treat!
Hugs, Teddy
Gee! What a cool idea to model masks 🙂
Mum’s fave mask is dark blue with bananas on it.
She says that it’s because she is “coo coo bananas” MOL!!
Purrs, Julie
Not very many masks there. I have a few more than she does.
You look marvelous! <3
