I may have missed this weekend’s cat show, but my human certainly kept me busy! On Sunday, she took me to PetSmart to meet the Easter Bunny. She also dressed me in my bunny costume for our outing. I hope the Easter Bunny did not think I was being a copycat.
I wanted to explore once we got inside, but my human said no, there were too many dogs. That’s why when we go shopping at pet stores, we usually do it on weekdays. PetSmart was hopping with dogs. I’m sure most of them were friendly, but try telling my human that. She says she does not want to take any chances. Anyhow, when we got there, nobody was visiting the Easter Bunny, and I think he was lonely because he kept waving at me.
Since I’m not the best lap cat, my human suggested putting a stool in front of the Easter Bunny, but I wouldn’t look at the photographer’s iPad. So finally the Easter Bunny picked me up.
The employee taking the photos thought it was pretty cool that a) a kitty showed up to be photographed, and b) that I showed up in costume! By the time she finished taking my photo, there was a crowd waiting to pose with the Easter Bunny.
Here’s the finished photo. I wish my ears had stayed on right.

Our favorite bunny is Summer!
PS They should have been lined up to be photographed with YOU!!!
Purrz and all that ……

Precious! Hope you are having a Happy Easter, Summer!!
Cute photo of two bunnies!
Bodacious
Oh, wow, Summer! That was way too cute!
There is a Bunny coming to our pet shop tomorrow, but petcretary has to work…so I will be spared that journey…and no bunny lap.
Dalton might get to go if pawppy will help…
I have to get a new tablet! I was sure I commented about haw fabulishious Summer looked and that I, Marvelous would have been terrified by the giant “stuffie”.

You look extra sweet in bunny ears Summer!
the critters in the cottage xo
How fun that you got to meet and take a picture with the Easter Bunny!
So cute! Bugs Bunny had to love holding you in his lap!
That is, if you did a LOUD purr for him!
Whoa! I’ll bet you’ll get extra Easter nip and treats in your Easter basket!
You look cute in those ears even though they wouldn’t co-operate. You will have to tell everyone that you were a lop eared bunny!
Way cute Summer!
Such cuteness!
You wear your ears better than any of my cats. You could be the Cadburry Bunny 🙂
Even with defective ears you were still cuter than the real Easter bunny!
You are both so cute!
That must have been very cool meeting the Easter Bunny. Frankie said he wants to meet him but I think he meant he wants to eat him. 🙂
Summer, you sure are a good sport ! You even cheered up the Easter Bunny ! Hope you get lost of treats in your basket.
How fun! I’m so glad you’re representing kitties everywhere!
Summer, so nice that you went to cheer up the Easter Bunny, he must’ve been sad no one was taking photos with him. You look really pretty even though your bunny ears flopped!
Oh waht fun to meet the Easter Bunny. Bet it was kind of scary though. Your bunny ears are the very best.
What a sweet photo ! But it looks like the Easter Bunny is not very familiar with the way of holding a cat ! Purrs
Summer, in that first photo you do NOT look thrilled to meet that bunny at all and I don’t blame you one bit!
WooHoo Summer you met the Bunny and sat in its lap. I bet the bunny was jealous of your ears!
Hugs madi your bfff
Oh Summer…how sweet you looked. I bet you got a nice Spring dress for your cooperation.
You are good for Easter Bunny business, Summer! Maybe that bunny should pay you for advertising! I bet you made his/her day! Your mom is wise not to take you to that shop during busy dog days. Mom would like me to get a photo with the Easter Bunny sometime, too.
How exciting you met Easter Bunny! The photo turned out fantastic!
Wow, so EB is real??? We didn’t believe our mom about this, but since you’ve met him, clearly he’s real! Cool. And you were a trendsetter – people saw you doing it, and they wanted to do it too. PS: we bet he was flattered, with your ears.
How exciting! And you look so cute in your bunny outfit. (P.s. Sorry we haven’t been commenting lately. We’re trying to catch up today!)
That is the coolest thing, that you were the only kitty there, and you wore ears! We bet you made that Easter Bunny’s day!
You kinda look cross in those ears, Summer. But meeting the EB must have cheered you up!
cute. Chanel got her picture taken with the Easter bunny. She doesn’t like to be held much either but thankfully they were pretty quick about it. The ladies taking pictures said she was the 4th cat they had seen.
Aw, Summer, nice work!
🙂
That’s so cute that you got to visit the Easter bunny. I’m glad Binga is feeling a little better.
How cool that you got to visit with the Easter Bunny!!!
The Florida Furkids
MOL, we think the Easter Bunnys are not familiar with holding kitties! Morton had his picture taken too yesterday and she was unsure how to hold hiim. It was so funny as most of the dogs (big ones) were so scared of the bunny. Not Morton! Love your pic, it’s super fun! Purrs
Summer, you’re so cute in your bunny ears with the Easter Bunny.
That is a very cute photo with the Easter Bunny, even if your ears weren’t functioning correctly. 🙂
That’s pretty darn cool sweet Summer, you look adorable!
Yeah, those ears just don’t work – it looks like you have some kind of pink pancake on your head MOL But a fun photo anyway. I bet there weren’t many cats getting their photo with the Easter Bunny.
What a cute photo with the Easter Bunny! We especially love the ears you wore.
Cupcake was impolite and hissed at the Easter Bunny, so our human had to be in the photo with her. We hope she’ll be brave like you someday.
Too cute! Gotta watch out for the doggies…..
That’s a very sweet photo of you and the Easter Bunny! I don’t blame your human for not wanting you to wander around – those woofies can be unpredictable sometimes, and she wants to keep you safe. <3
