I had a really fun time at the cat show on Caturday! In fact, I was extra energetic and ready to meet and greet my public.
Even if I was perpetually haunted by you-know-who. Did you read yesterday’s post, and how she ruined my selfie?
In addition to the Halloween collar you saw yesterday, I also wore this one for a while. I did lots of tricks, and rang my bell a bunch of times. At one point, I got photographed bunches by some guy from the local paper in Glendale. I can’t wait to see if I get in it!
Of course, I wore my Cleocatra costume for a while.
I also wore my Harley Quinn costume. Humans who saw the blog post on Friday told me that it actually looks better in person! You can’t tell in photographs, but the pom poms kind of bounce around.
One of the breeders — she has American Curls — had this lion costume. She said that none of her cats liked it, so she lent it to me for the day to see what I thought. Of course I wore it no problem! After seeing me in it, I think she is going to try again on her cats. Maybe I should apologize to them!
I think I mentioned that there was a costume contest, and you were probably wondering which one of my costumes I was going to wear for it. Now you know — it was my crazy cat lady outfit! It was very popular, and I came in second. First place was a cat in some crazy spider outfit. The second place prize was a $25 gift certificate, to spend with any of the vendors at the show. So my human did some Secret Paws shopping.
Of course, I couldn’t go nonstop, and I took breaks frequently. But this time, I was more excited about being out and meeting people, and didn’t care about the breaks as much. I sure crashed out when I got home, though!
I was kind of hoping that my human would forget some of the decorations and leave them behind when she packed our things. But no such luck.
